Freshly Squeezed — Restaurant in Waterloo

The customer service was horrible!!!!! That young blondie girl was so rude towards me and my niece. My niece ordered regular size mango bubble tea, and it did NOT taste like mango at allll and even the colour was disgustingly different and it was watered down. My niece went up to her and asked her if she could make another one and even herself she agreed the colour was different and it tasted odd. After she made another one it was still the same thing and it tasted more sour and funky. So I went up to her myself to ask her to make a different flavour. Mind you my niece always orders the mango flavour but this time it was disgusting. After I asked her to make another one and I was even being polite even though we had to go up to her three times. She refused to make another one and told me that it wasn’t her fault my niece didn’t like it and told me she would make a smaller size for her instead even though we paid for regular!!!!! I’m not cheap at alll but if I paid for a regular size then I better get a regular size. She kept on arguing with me in a disgustingly manner and kept on refusing to make the drink that I paid for. In the end she made the drink in different flavour but told me there will be no tapioca in it. I had to pay for extra tapioca beforehand and still didn’t get the tapioca. I hate to leave a bad review but this place is a health hazard and potentially poisoning people with spoiled produce deserves a 1 star. Tried to serve me a smoothie made with rotting kale. I noticed the kale was yellow when the worker was making the smoothie and went over to the bin holding the kale and looked at it through the glass - it was indeed completely yellow and actively rotting. I mentioned this to the worker and she said "it came from headquarters like that". She was completely unaware and probably served this spoiled kale to other people before me that day (Aug 29th). I educated her that any cruciferous green that is yellow has gone bad. Management needs to educate their employees about what rotting produce looks like. Went here August 18th, 2024, with my daughter. The service was slow, the employees were rude. We ordered 2 drinks and a piece of cheesecake. They were out of most of their fruit...umm, Freshly squeezed? Squeezed what then? The employees took 10 minutes to give us our drinks (they were not even busy, just plan slow and ignorant) They took another 5 minutes to give my child her cheesecake and they forgot her fork!!
