Ming's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Waterloo

The worst restaurant I've ever been to. Server wasn't around at all and we weren't even served any water until we asked just before we left..... Plates, forks, knives and napkins were thrown on the table by a server for us to self set.... Did I do something wrong? Seriously I just sat and waited patiently and she threw the plate right infront of me.. Also if you need something like water or a container, you need to go to to the counter and call and wait for someone to come. Food is definitely not worth it if you think about how much you pay. It's not an expensive restaurant but the food is very under average. I was excited to find this place with 4 stars review when I was around the area, starving but after trying, god I'm not coming back at all to this horrible restaurant to ruin my day. I thought someone should let people know this is not a restaurant that deserves 4 stars review at all. Hope lots of people...

We just tried this place for the first time this week and it is awesome! Highly recommend the Jar Doo Chicken Wings (#3), they were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The House Ginger Beef (#51) was also amazingly tasty and tender, it comes with vegetables too. The Sesame Chicken (#52) comes in bite sized pre-sauced pieces that are nice and sweet. We also really enjoyed the Singapore Chow Mein (#32), it has a nice curry/turmeric kind of spice, but I wouldn't say that it is "spicy". The only thing I wish this place had was an online ordering service like skip the dishes for added convenience. The best of the worst.

Weve lived in Waterloo for the past 3 years.. have tried countless chinese restaurants and have been constantly disappointed.... Mings is the best of the worst, they are sometimes great, sometime la not so good.

The food is inconsistent, always depend on how busy they are, any breaded products are awful and 75% fried breading, 25% of whatever you ordered(chicken, shrimp, beef, etc....)

It's always a good up of whether you will get good food or not. If someone has a suggestion for a better restaurant I'd be grateful, every other city I've lived in has had much better cuisine... so any suggestions would be much...
