St. George Restaurant — Restaurant in Waterloo

This is the first time we have visited this restaurant and we're glad we came. It is truly a hidden gem.

There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot.

Guest Wi-Fi is available.

The decor is simple, clean and tidy.

The laminated menus were clean.

The owners and staff are absolutely fantastic! They are friendly, polite, accommodating and are truly hard working people.

The bathrooms are clean but need some updating and a little maintenance.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We ordered the St George Platter, which serves two and has an assortment of different meats with delicious potatoes and an excellent assortment of perfectly cooked veggies.

The background music was at a perfect level that you could still enjoy it and have a normal conversation. Although personally I would enjoy authentic Serbian music for the experience of eating in a Serbian restaurant.

This restaurant had 3 weeks notice that there would be 16 of us--results--I had to wait an hour and a half to receive the hard cold dried out special and was charged for an item I did not get. Everyone was given food at odd times--some had finished before I received mine. The 2 people around me liked their food but their wait was one hour and 15 min. No apologies--only excuses were given--"we are getting a new menu next week"--"our receptionist should never have booked you without a set menu" (they had a telephone number to arrange this ahead and yet they set out on the table not only the daily specials but also a regular menu, for each of us) We were able to laugh among us as how rediculious this place was and one woman went to the kitchen and said that if they had just apologized and or offered us a dessert or a discount, it might have...

I enjoyed a delicious lunch here at St. George’s Restaurant. It was my first time dining here and I was very happy with my experience. I enjoyed the grilled Salmon with rice and Vegetables. The Pork schnitzel and potatoes was also top notch. Both dishes had nice flavour and large portions. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and Quiet with Serbian music playing. The tables looked nice with white linen table clothes and I enjoyed the artwork all around the restaurant with beautiful Sceneries, a pretty horse and an interesting musical instrument on display.
