Everyone should rate this A&W one star. Not for its food, not for its interior (it's currently under reno), but for the pathetic customer service skills of the manager. This female manager is clearly unqualified for the position she signed up for.
First of all, there is none of that pleasant customer-focused attitude to be found with her. While not rude, her tone is very cold and unconcerned with her customers. Always responds with "yeah sure".
Second of all, she is unreasonably inflexible and by-the-book. On the A&W app, you’re able to customize the toppings, yet when ordering the exact same item on UberEats for pickup, she refuses to let you choose the toppings. What kind of logic is that? Even so, a manager has authority to make exceptions for the customer; she simply chooses not to.
Additionally, she treats customer complaints as "bad manners"and dismisses them (fyi I did not raise my voice). That is not the right approach. Ironically, even the min wage staff have better customer service skills LOL!

Server at the drive thru window was in a miserable mood. Was gone too far to return and complain so I ended up chucking everything except the Sprite; $20 wasted! I do not recommend this place and won't be going back. Edit: I received the automatic generated reply below and I did follow it through because the food was so bad. The owner of the store made contact to determine the issue and find a resolution. She has just recently taken over this store and is making changes to address the problems and get customers to return. She sounded determined and genuine and definitely wants to move forward. Read moreI decided to go here yesterday as I was in the plaza and needed a snack. I saw there was several cars in the drive thru but thought it's fine, going inside looked just as busy. We sat in the drive thru line for 15mins without moving, eventually moving 1 car up.. sat for another 10ish minutes without moving. I finally realized that no other car had pulled up behind me so I could back out of the line. I felt like there was no other choice at this point. After sitting for almost a full 30 minutes and not even being at the speaker to order. This is for sure unacceptable service. If there was an issue with staffing etc.. then maybe you should close the drive thru so this doesn't happen. It will be a long time before I return to this establishment. Please do better.
