This is for the blonde lady with long blonde hair. Genuine question do you have any sense of urgency Like your coworkers? People coming into the store deserve just as much attention as the drive-through people.
Anyways, I accidentally placed a mobile order at the King Street beside the mall and not in the indigo. I only had 15 minutes and I Noticed that I did not place the right Starbucks so I called and asked if I can come back In an hour when my shift was over, it said it could be done. When I get there, my order is literally sitting on the Counter for literally an hour and half. And she still gives me my drink because someone seems too lazy to make it. And then she was suss when I asked her if she could make me new Belgian waffles because you can literally feel the ones there were rockhard. Then put them in and had me standing there for like five minutes. she got another coworker Who then came out, took the Waffles out And they sat there for two minutes. She walked back-and-forth, walked in the circle The Uber guy was saying hello because nobody was giving us any ounce of attention. Everyone had something to do, but she was literally walking back-and-forth from drive-through to cashier. Literally nothing in her hands doing nothing. Making herself seem useful. And then she Dealt with the Uber and then she got my waffles which were sitting on the counter for another two minutes. Every other person that was working, had sense of urgency, but this one and it’s not only this day that I see it she literally walks around Behind the Barista bar. I think her name is Emma. I don’t know, but the girl named Julia.. Or Julie… Actually works she actually Makes...
Read moreI used to love this location and I really still want to but the last couple of times I’ve gone, my drinks have been made terribly. Instructions haven’t been listened to, etc. They are quite friendly when I’ve gone back to correct the drinks. A recent experience within the last month is what drives the 3/5 stars. I placed my mobile order and went to the drive thru to pick it up and the staff all but yelled at us saying we needed to be at least 5 mins after placing the order. Possible mix up on our end - I placed it within 3 minutes of arriving but when we pulled up there was absolutely no on there - not a car in the lot. It was also about 9pm. The young woman at the window yelled as us for not waiting (we only ordered iced coffees) and basically threw the drinks into the car when she handed them over very aggressively. I sincerely do love the majority of the staff here, and they generally are very kind but there are a few that have unfortunately ruined my experience. If I can avoid going to this location now I try to do so. Every second chance I give them by going back reminds me that I should stop trying :( which sucks because this was my favourite...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience this morning at the Starbucks location. I usually bring my small dog with me to pick up my order, which I've done at most Starbucks in Waterloo without any issues. Today, however, I wasn't aware of the store's policy against carrying my dog, even though my order was to go and I only stay inside for about 30 seconds. The attitude from the young barista was pretty tough to handle. I pre-ordered using the app because my dog was with me, but there wasn't an option to order a pup cup. When my order was ready, I quickly popped in with my dog in my arms to grab my drink and asked for a pup cup. Unfortunately, the barista scolded me and asked me to leave, making me feel quite uncomfortable. I tried to explain that I was just picking up my order and couldn't order the pup cup on the app, but she didn't acknowledge me and walked away after getting it. It's disappointing when experiences like this happen, especially when other Starbucks locations have been so welcoming in...
