This place has a very cute aesthetic with anime and pop culture references in the decor. I adored how many options there were to customize the drink and there's even some intriguing flavours like raspberry creamsicle (I will definitely be back to get that!!!) I liked that food options are available here too and it was noticeable right away - the menus are on the wall (a little high though to look if you're trying to order for the first time like I was: craning my neck after every word 😂). There's lots of sitting space and they sell cute plushies and pens and stuff but they're are very expensive. I saw boardgames but I'm not sure how it works, maybe one is able to take and play them in the shop but not buy or keep them? The drinks here are a pretty good price like 3.89 for regular size and 4.99 for large but the frozen stuff is 4.99 to 5.69 depending on what you get. The wait in line was okay (long line) but when we got our order letter (to put on a table so they know where to bring the order) we sat down and it was a 20 minute wait. I was hoping to have a logo on the cup I got but alas, there isn't for some reason. Overall I enjoyed my drink and the price I paid for it.

The ultimate premium beverage stop. A menu that tastefully caters to all beverage preferences without exceeding its bounds, every beverage item is gourmet, of the highest quality, guaranteed. Your stop won't necessarily be an unhealthy one either, as you are asked the type and amount of sweeteners you prefer, among many other options. With the breadth of choices and flavours, I have seldom ordered the same thing twice. A somewhat homely and youthful treasure trove atmosphere and decor is helped by the tucked-away location. Most of the employees don't look or seem all too happy to be there, but I can't deduct points for that. The exception is made with the tall server with glasses (please accept my sincere apologies for the lapse of memory). He is pleasant and talkative. If the prices (which are a premium for the top quality ingredients and portions, still competitive with other locations) push you away, then ask for a certain little points card, which will make your visits well worth it.

I recently visited Sweet Dreams Teashop with my kids, and it was an amazing visit in every regard. My kids were so excited to try bingsu and between the three of us we couldn't finish it! It was delicious and we were able to bring home the leftovers. I also purchased the icy swirl taro bubble tea with tapioca pearls and it was classic, very tasty. The best part however was the service. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have my 4 and 6 year old there, were very sweet and kind, and would smile and laugh at their excitement and antics, happy to see the satisfied and chocolate filled faces of my children. They even brought over a special treat for them, where my daughter chose a rainbow unicorn sticker and my son chose a rainbow eraser. Thank you for a great experience and we will definitely be back!

The customer service here was outstanding. I'd come here once before when I was a university student and recently brought my niece and two nephews on a fun outing to introduce them to bubble tea for the first time. While I did look up the menu online beforehand I didn't realize that there were kid-friendly options more suited to their developing palate, so they just chose from the usual options on the menu. I tried to guide them towards simple flavours and they chose well but they ended up not loving what they got simply because of how new the flavours of tea and the tapioca and lychee were to them. Embarrassed that I'd let them down, I sat there scooping out the tapioca and lychee for them so that they could still enjoy the drink itself at least. When I was almost done doing this, the manager approached our table in such a warm, non-judgmental way and asked if I would like them to strain the tapioca and lychee out of the children's drinks for them. I hadn't realized this was an option so I thanked her and explained the situation. She had the most wonderful, kind, and generous response: she was understanding and empathetic, and immediately offered to replace all the kids' drinks free of charge to ensure that they had a positive first experience with bubble tea! She explained the options for the more kid-friendly flavours, the kids each chose one, and she even insisted on bringing over a board game for us to enjoy while we waited. The kids loved their new drinks and I felt so relieved that they were now having a good experience! I thanked the manager profusely, and I made a mental note right away to write a glowing review here because the way she deftly handled the situation was so professional, impressive, and kind-hearted of her. The fact that a busy manager took the time during a busy day to notice me sitting there sheepishly scooping out the kids' drinks trying to redeem the experience for them, she deduced the situation, and she came over in a warm, friendly way without judgment or impatience, and immediately offered a complete solution is exemplary customer service. I wish I could remember her name, but I hope she is recognized for her excellent work and her kindness, which made such an impact on the day for the kids' experience, and also made me feel so much better overall about how it went. I will definitely be returning here and recommending it to everyone I know, especially for first-time bubble...

I don't usually hand out 5 stars, or ever really, in hyperbole of a for profit business, but this time it's a little different.

I first came here as a tiny child with my sister and had an icicle dream. This is a memory that won't leave my head. Some years later, and her wisdom of choice persists.

This is how I would run a food business. The location, the blithe decor and feminine homeliness, and timeless quality of service keep me returning no matter what worldly travails come or go.

This is a one stop shop for tea. Hot, cold, blended, milk, fruit, even the coffee is fantastic. I haven't encountered a single unpleasant item on the ambitious although specialized menu, however I do tend to only order large icy swirls for myself. I haven't tried a food item, but I am looking forward to the $15 lunch deal if I can manage punctually.

If you want to make Dalin's tea shop of choice your own, you're going to start by asking for a rewards card. An informal, over the counter system that sees every drink you order stamped, and at ten stamps, you earn a free drink of any size and topping. These will add up quickly, and will prompt repeat visits. You won't find anything like this at a chain.

It's five stars because I have no complaints. Really. The teas are $7 or $8 or whatever, but they're big and worth it, and they're served exactly to your liking. If pressed for a complaint, one would only raise the political messaging once upon a summer of riots, but that was limited to window dressing never to be repeated.

And so it was, the place I get drinks. Don't go...
