Kimono's Chinese takeout — Restaurant in Welland

My family has ordered from this place many times before. 80% of the time the food has been great. The last two times we had problems with their fried rice; it was crispy, literal black specks of whatever was burnt in their wok. We didn't complain that time as the rest of the meal was fine.

The next time we ordered, all of the rice and noodles tasted like it was drowned in salt, not to mention that their soup was just soggy rice; hence no soup at all. perhaps next time separate the broth and rice? 1/4 of their fried shrimp tasted like it was heated multiple times due to the fact the shrimp was hard and inedible. My wife called to let them know that the whole order was a disaster and the man who owns the restaurant reasons behind it was they were busy that night but to come in any time and they'd make a fresh batch. Well that time came and my wife dealt with a woman who straight up told her that if she didn't want it salty then to not ask for salt. That was not the issue when everything prepared was salty that drinking water doesn't help. The woman also told my wife that there must be something wrong with her taste buds and that over the past 20 years there has never been a complaint. Are you kidding? The audacity to argue when you have less than 5 stars? Now tell me you haven't had any complaints. Don't talk to customers in a degrading way and expect not to get a review like this. Horrible service; just apologize and move on, what's the point in arguing with someone who's ordered plenty of times from your restaurant?

We visited this take out location a few years back and things were hardly acceptable. We revisited last week again thinking a 2 nd try was in line. NOT EVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN!!! The place should be condemed. First impression was figuring out which is the entry door. It’s the one with the cardboard box sign. Walking in you are greeted by a young 14 year old boy who obviously only took money and handed out the takeouts. He was not knowledgeable with the menu whatsoever. He went to the kitchen to check on hot and sour soup. First answer they don’t have any. Next answer they were sold out. Third answer they haven’t removed it from the web page yet. Half hour later I got my order which was simply settling for dinner as we’re hungry. However we were not hungry enough to eat this crap. Chicken balls the size of hard balls with near no chicken inside. Even the dog never enjoyed them unless we broke them apart firstly. The ribs were last weeks left overs. You know how meat gets hard and dry (even with sauce on it). I can go on “But you get the idea)!!! I do not understand how they are still...

We have always Oder from this restaurant and today was the last time! Hard to believe that the holiday my husband and I went into the establishment to place an order that came to 47.71 and waited approx 10 min for it and drive home. Now we don’t even live 5 min away, only to get home and realize one of the 6 dishes we had order was wrong that’s fine we had wanted Plai. fried rice ( which we had asked if they had and the women said yes) only to get home and it was vegetable Fried rice. Let’s look pass that cause we did. Now all sauces were ICE cold ok we can heat them up in the microwave - again looking pass these things! Now let’s get to the 5 other dishes — all not hot, not even warm— Cold!!! Really??? Almost 50 bucks and we are going to eat cold food??? Call them women doesn’t say a thing, sorry please come back nothing!!!! I decided to pack everything up and drive it back!!! Why do I want all this food?? Took it back and got not even a sorry!!!!
