We reserved a table for 6 yesterday afternoon. Everything went well. They had our table ready, an extremely friendly and nice gentleman at the door, not sure if he was the owner or managers and two lady servers were also extremely professional and polite. I travel a lot almost all over the world and have had food in so many different places and can tell my Chicken Kabab was THE best chicken kabab I had in my life. So I'm sure by now you are all wondering why I am giving them only one star review which should be well over 5 star review. Two reason:1) They only have one white wine on their menu which we ordered from our server, the bottle in their menu was $30. Without us asking she brought 2 bottles of white wine to our table and asked us which one we like, we knew one of them and pick it, was a great one obviously. I am guilty of not checking my bills and even if I do I never complain, I just thought the bill is a little bit more than what it should be so next day at home I check my bill and the bottle of wine that we open was about $56-57 dollars almost double the price. I have no issue with their pricing or paying even a few hundred dollars for a bottle of wine but I strongly believe when they only have one kind of white wine with one price in thri menu if they take it upon themself to offer you something different they should also mention the price. Any person could imagine they probably have the same price and it wasn't a few dollars more it was double the price. Again please don't take me wrong paying about $60 for a bottle of wine is not by any means expensive in a restaurant, we buy wines at home for $100, but the point I am trying to make is they should've let us know and let us make that decision and not them for us.2) They printed in their menu group of over 4 or 5 people, can't remember exactly, they will add 20% service charge to the bill which is understandable, of course we were 6 and that was expected to be extra. The nice gentleman at the door also pointed that to me when I was paying the bill which was very nice of him to remind as some places they don't tell you and you end up paying way more than you want or supposed to. So the next screen on the POS machine after the amount was tip so I asked him so you already added the 20% so I don't need to add the tip, correct? After this question everything turned around to be different with a rude body gesture and not a nice polite voice he was like "Yes you can do that too", so I skip the tip as I already was charged 20% back to my table and as we were getting ready to leave we thanked them at door and said bye but he didn't bother to say anything or even raise his head to acknowledge us. Not sure what I did wrong. Is paying 20% was so low and bad that it turned him from a super nice gentleman to someone like that, honestly we felt we were not welcome there, it was such a bad feeling that you think you don't belong to a place and they don't want you there and want you to leave. It felt like you were going to a charity and he felt he fed you for free and now it's time for you to get out of here and not want you there anymore. I loved their food and wish I could say I would go back and recommend them but I am puzzled now.

"Miras" undoubtedly stands out as one of the finest establishments offering Persian cuisine in town. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance was inviting, with a blend of traditional decor and modern touches that created an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. As for the food, every dish surpassed my expectations, bursting with rich flavours and exquisite presentation. Each bite was a culinary journey, showcasing the chefs' skill and dedication to crafting authentic Persian delicacies. Whether it was the aromatic kebabs, flavorful stews, or fragrant rice dishes, every plate was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity. Moreover, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff who anticipated our needs and ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences made the dining experience more enjoyable. Overall, my visit to Miras was exceptional, leaving me with fond memories and a desire to return soon. I do not doubt that they will continue to maintain the high standards of food and service that set them apart. I eagerly look forward to my next culinary adventure at this remarkable establishment. I recently discovered this hidden gem in West Vancouver, and I'm thoroughly impressed! The Vaziri Kebab was a masterful combination of two distinct skewers - one featuring perfectly seasoned ground lamb and beef with their signature Miraas spices, and another with saffron-lemon marinated chicken breast. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorfully grilled to perfection.

The Mirza Ghasemi was a delightful surprise - a smoky eggplant dish with grilled tomatoes, garlic, and eggs that offered a beautiful balance of flavors. The presentation was stunning, with vibrant garnishes including bright cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, and pickled vegetables adding both color and complementary tastes to each dish.

What particularly stood out was the generous portion size - definitely great value for money. Each dish was thoughtfully plated with attention to detail, from the perfectly grilled kebabs to the aromatic saffron rice and colorful accompaniments.

The rich orange hues of the saffron-infused chicken and the careful attention to traditional Persian cooking techniques demonstrate the kitchen's commitment to authenticity. This was my first visit to Miraas, but it certainly won't be my last!

Step into Miraas, and you step into a world of Persian culinary excellence. From the first bite to the last sip, every moment at Miraas is a symphony of flavors and hospitality. The star of the show? Undoubtedly, the rice. Each grain is a testament to perfection, cooked to fluffy perfection and bursting with aromatic richness. Whether paired with succulent meats or vibrant vegetables, the rice alone is worth the visit. But let's not overlook the sekajebin drink – a revelation in itself. Cool, refreshing, and bursting with the flavors of mint and cucumber, it's the perfect companion to any meal. Each sip is like a journey through the gardens of Persia. Beyond the culinary delights, Miraas offers an experience that transcends mere dining. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with an attention to detail that speaks volumes. Every dish is a work of art, a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs. And let's not forget the service – attentive, friendly, and always ready with a recommendation or a smile. At Miraas, you're not just a guest – you're family. In conclusion, Miraas is more than just a restaurant – it's a celebration of Persian cuisine and culture. With delicious food, delightful drinks, and impeccable service, it's an experience not to be missed
