Subway — Restaurant in West Vancouver

I cant comment on food service on this visit. What i can comment on was the rude employee who was hesitant to allow a young child the use of a washroom. Without purchase. So i made sure to let them know they could take my change ($2.00) into their "tip" jar. I let them know this tip was going to come with the poor review. And I get it. There are public accessible washrooms down the road, but when dealing with children they usually have to go NOW not down the road. For all the times ive stopped in while waiting for a ferry and NOT used the washroom. Guess one time of just quickly flushing some water and washing hands was too much to ask for without a 2.00 tip thrown in their bucket or purchase of a sub.

Definitely changed my view of being a place to sit and wait out a ferry wait, given theres only limited spots. Next time I guess it'll be Starbucks and a...

We found that we were quite early as there was an hour to go for the ferry 'Coastal Renaissance' at around 1 pm. That gave us some time to explore the area around Horseshoe Bay. The busy port is quite scenic. There are a large number of restaurants nearby. Since we did not have time for a sit-down lunch we bought some Veggie Subs from the Subway outlet in an adjoining lane nearby, and were happy to munch it on the ferry. It saved us some money and we did not have to wait in a long line which forms as soon as the ferry starts. The service at the Subway outlet was quick and courteous. We could choose our sauces and ingredients and customise the Sub to our liking. Better still, we paid for 3 lunches what would have got us only one...

Was stoked to see a subway at the ferry terminal village, as we don’t have one where I live on the island! Although when I went to use the washroom, RIGHT after I went into the single bathroom the girl working there starting loudly knocking at the door…. It was so strange haha. She watched me walk in and before I could sit down she was banging on the door.. I’m not usually one to make reviews but this was so strange I couldn’t not laugh. I could barely believe my eyes when I saw it was a Subway employee banging on the door like that!? Once I left she gave me quite the dirty look and the other woman made my sandwich, While she glared?
