As a person with celiac disease, it’s hard to come across safe places for me to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find Vines come up suggested for gluten free options. I decided to check it out with a friend of mine for supper yesterday and felt the experience was above and beyond what I anticipated! They seemed knowledgeable when I asked about gluten containing items such as sauces, and double checked with the kitchen to make sure. Mostly everything on their menu is able to be modified to be celiac friendly. I had the Cajun fettuccine and it was so delicious and flavourful! Was also pleasantly surprised when then came out with some warm gluten free bread and butter as I was not expecting to be that accommodated at all. Also had their peach sangria and it was very very tasty! I will definitely be returning to try some other menu items and am happy to recommend to fellow celiacs ☺️

This is a beautiful new gem I just had the pleasure of discovering with my gal pal who is Celiac. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on the ingredients or asked if they didn't know! This made the experience super amazing to be able to go out and enjoy good food and feel safe! My favorite thing was that without even asking (not sure if the bread does come with meals since it was my first visit!) They brought out warm gluten free bread for us! None of our menu options were available to choose from in the ratings but highly recommend the chicken curry penne and the Cajun pasta also looked very appetizing! Everything was so yummy we even stuck around for a shared glass of sangria, which was also VERY delicious! I can't wait to come back and try more!

It was a very nice Italian restaurant and the food was so delicious. We were a table of 7 and the waitress was so great. She was the only one working and honestly handled all the tables with ease and was so friendly. I had the tortellini, and my spouse had the Cajun fettuccine. Both dishes were perfect. The pasta was very fresh. The ceasar salad was very good, the perfect amount of dressing. Would definitely make this a favorite if I lived here.

Disappointing is the first word that comes to my mind. I've been there before and had nothing but praise for the restaurant; today unfortunately thumbs down and I explain. Upon my arrival (4:10 pm) I was greeted by a waitress still wearing her outdoor coat, she pointed to a table and asked me if it was ok, I agreed, shortly after another waitress ask me for my order, I ask for calamari and peasant carbonara as entree. I was given a nice warm loaf of bread with butter and ginger ale(as I order). Tha calamari was so... thick and rubbery , also the portion too big and difficult to swallow, served with a side of nacho sauce( tasted like the cans they sell at the grocery store) and some greenery that look that had been in the fridge for 2 nights cover with a plastic bag. Instead of the soup of the day, I decided to go healthy and paid 3 dollars for the toss salad. I should have known better but my healthy eating decision was salad: the mushrooms were wrinkly and no flavor, the tomatoes weren't good either, so was the greenery, honestly that salad appeared was in their fridge for at least one night I mean no crunchiness from the lettuce and on top of that, the sauce for the salad was very vinegary and no flavors(other than vinegar that is). Do you want me to pack it for you? I answered no thank you. Now the entree, I asked for parmesan cheese which was not offered. First time I ask for pasta carbonara that doesn't taste as bacon even though the pieces of bacon can be seen at the bottom of the dish. Service was rather unhelpful and uncaring, after I explained the waitress that my salad fork was dirty she made no effort to offer a fresh one before my salad. I had three bites of the salad and ate 5 shrimp from the pasta. I asked for the bill, fully paid for my meal, explained to the cashier my disappointment, she offered a gift certificate for a free meal, which I rejected as my intention is not to return to...

Tried Vines for the first time last Saturday for my wife's birthday. It was a disappointing experience, to say the least.

To start, as soon as we got out of our car we were hit with an overwhelming smell of garlic - it smelled like we were bathing in it.

Service was super slow, and definitely not the service you'd expect from an expensive restaurant. We waited more than 30 minutes for our starter, for example.

The food was pretty bad, actually. We had shrimp as an appetizer - so soaked in garlic they were basically inedible. Then our meals finally came (an hour after we arrived). I had a dish called "Tour of Italy", which was the same super garlicy sauce over Fetuccini, chicken parm, and a piece of lasagna. The lasagna tasted very different, as though it had middle eastern or Indian spices instead of Italian. Worst lasagna I have ever had. The chicken parm was good, so one out of three items were edible.

When it was time to leave, we spent about 20 minutes trying to get our bill, and then had to stand in a long lineup of about 15 people to wait until we could pay the bill and leave. It felt like we were in a McDonalds lineup. At the cash, I mentioned that they might want to consider getting a few more card machines (apparently they had only one for the entire restaurant), and was met with an owner or manager that argued about the lack of service with me. Absolutely unacceptable to argue with a complaining customer who had just had such a poor experience.

We will never be back, for sure. It will take days for the garlic smell and taste, which seemed to permeate all of the food and the restaurant itself like the odour of death. I like garlic....I just don't need to bathe in it.

Strongly NOT...

I was there with my family on Mother's Day, a table of 8. We were told at the time we placed the reservation there would be brunch as well as regular menu. The only option we had was an 8 option menu that we could choose one item from, whether it be fried chicken and waffles to an omelet. There was no open brunch set up nor regular menu. It took us over an hour to get our food. The sausage was missing on one plate once received it was burned on the plates of both people that ordered it. Three of us order chicken and waffles, they were all overcooked and dry with a battered rock hard, another ordered an omelet which was burned on the bottom. When brought to the attention of our server the food that was not prepared properly was replaces, even though some of declined to have the food replaced and opted just to finish our fries and waffles we were told they would bring it anyway and we didn't have to eat it if we didn't want to. The omelet was replaced and again burned underneath. Whole wheat toast was not available nor could we get an English muffin that wasn't buttered. The icing on the cake if you will..... the server was inappropriate in his handling of the service to our group, with all of the mistakes, the poorly prepared food etc we barely received an apology. Over $300 spent on breakfast and over 2 hours to do it. First time at this establishment and probably...
