A&W Canada — Restaurant in Wetaskiwin

Having used to work at an a&w I usually am pretty confident on quality but this evenings supper was anything but. Onion rings obviously sat in the chute too long. Cold and gross. Same with fries. Toppers on burgers were really heavy on lettuce and the tomatoe was obviously old. My guess too many were made in advance for the holidays and they were trying not to waste. Burger was bland so I doubt they were seasoned. Also they missed a drink with my order. 47 bucks to feed a family of four and two rings and a fry went into the trash. For the highest priced fast food joint that touts good food makes good food I expect more. Pretty disappointing. Get it together kitchen staff and if something is expired make sure you don't serve it. This goes for front end staff running orders also. The food is okay, but the service is chaotic. Customers don't know where to line up to order food, and when the food does come nobody seems to know who placed the order. My first visit, they handed me a big bag of takeout food without any questions. I could have walked out the door, but I knew that order belonged to someone else. The second time I visited was with a small group of friends. They ordered burgers with french fries and paid for them. The order came without french fries and they had to argue that they had paid for both burgers and french fries. You don't get a receipt to prove what you paid for.

Pulled up to the speaker and asked what they had on special. The gentleman told me just the coupons. With covid virus i don't get flyers right now just like ofhers. I let the gentleman know that and he told me too bad. I continued to order. Pulled up to the window to pay with interact. The lady at the window held the machine out the window and i tapped my card. And asked for my interact maxhine. The lady went away and came back with my order and again i asked for my interact receipt. She tells me she threw it out and does not know where it was.
