A&W Canada — Restaurant in Whitby

Updated review: I previously gave this place a 5 stars. However, with today’s experience, I’m dropping it to a 1. The lady who took my order was rude. I’ve never ordered a combo before, so I was confused on how it worked. I said could “I have a mozzarella burger combo,” she says what’s that, oh you mean “Mozza burger combo.” She was so rude about that, displaying her petty attitude. Additionally, I asked for a “jug,” however, she makes a big scene, speaks in a rude tone and made me feel embarrassed. I just accidentally mixed up the word, “mug.” I will no longer be coming back to this A&W anymore. The lady appeared to be the manager, she was slightly larger (I’m not fat phobic, just describing the person so there is action taken). Everyone else was great during the many times I was here, except for that one lady. Thanks for ruining my lunch.

Don't bother replying with this "Thank you for taking the time to let us know you didn’t have a great visit. Please send us an email with more information at guestrelations@aw.ca so we can look into this." I ain't sending an email, you guys...

I just wanted to share how impressed I was with the staff (Pratibha) at your 5949 Baldwin St., Whitby, ON A&W location. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smile and friendly service. She was very polite, efficient, and I can tell that she clearly took pride in her work.

I’ve ordered a chicken burger, it was juicy and packed with flavour, the crispy coating paired perfectly with the tender meat inside (I’ve had overly dry ones before from a different location). The onion rings were golden, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned (other places are overly salty!). I must say that I had an incredibly satisfying meal!

In addition, I find that The restaurant was immaculately clean and well-maintained! The washroom says a lot, it was very clean not like the other locations I’ve visited before- EVEN DURING A BUSY TIME!

It’s always a pleasure to experience great customer service, and your team definitely delivered. Please pass along my thanks and compliments to the staff, especially to Pratibha!

♥️LOVED¡!¡♥️ Food, Service & People Were Very VERY¡ Polite But Then Hit My Tire on a HUGE¡ Metal THING¡ at The Very BOTTOM¡!¡ of the Service Window & it Took a BIG¡! Chunk OUT¡ of My Tire!¡...°•.○ to Say the Least¡ & When i Called in to inquire about it & what they are Going to Do About The Supervisor just Kept telling Me NO CALL Tomorrow But After asking Many Times i Convinced he to Take My info & Look on the Cameras to Pin Point The incident & Tell the Owners to CALL Me¡ & We BOTH agreed that I would Still CALL the NEXT Day so I Did & it was Good 👍🏻 BUT Then When the Owner CALLED¡ Kept Trying to Make it Seem Like it was My Falt that I Hit it & Has NOTHING¡ to Do with them i Kept Telling Him if You Made it so People Would KNOW¡ it There Then i Wouldn't of Hit it¡ i Would Like to See the Camera Footage!¡ i FEEL¡ Sadly That They WON'T¡ HELP...°•.○ at With My NOW¡ Damaged RIM & The NEW¡ Tires i Just GOT 9 Days Before This...
