I recently ordered a bucket of mutton biryani from BiryaniWalla in Whitby, and the experience was terrible. After bringing it home, I let it cool down briefly before refrigerating it. The next day, when I took it to work for lunch, I discovered it had gone badâit smelled terrible and was inedible.
I called the restaurant to inform them about the issue, hoping for some assistance or resolution. Instead, I was told about a â2-hour ruleâ and that the biryani must be consumed within 2 hours. This explanation makes absolutely no sense for such an expensive dish, especially when customers expect food to last longer than a couple of hours after proper storage.
When I explained my situation further, the staff and management were unhelpful and dismissive. They mentioned some supposed storage instructions on the bucket, but I was not informed of this when I picked up the order. There was no accountability, no attempt to make things right, and no concern for customer satisfaction.
Not only was this a waste of money, but we also ended up starving because of their lack of proper communication and care. Their attitude and poor customer service were incredibly frustrating.
I would not recommend BiryaniWalla to anyone. If this is how they treat their customers, itâs simply not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere that values both the quality of their food and...
   Read moreDear Biryaniwalla Whitby Team,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for working so hard on Canada Day. I witnessed something quite upsetting around 9 PM todayâfour customers (three men and one woman) aggressively yelling at your front desk staff over a 10-minute delay in their order.
They were rude, entitled, and completely disrespectfulâgoing as far as accusing the staff of âcheatingâ and pressuring her into giving a 10% discount. The hypocrisy was unrealâthey complained about their time being wasted, while they themselves held up the entire line for 15â20 minutes.
As a bystander, I felt terrible seeing what your team had to endure. I wanted to step in, but honestlyâthey were so irrational, it felt like shouting into a void.
So instead, Iâm reaching out to say: ⢠Thank you for your grace under pressure. ⢠Your food and service are worth way more than what those people deserved. ⢠If thereâs any way to ban or flag such customers, I hope you consider it.
People like that donât deserve your hospitality. Keep your heads highâyour community sees and appreciates you.
Warm regards, A...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the recent order I received from your restaurant, Biryaniwala. As a vegetarian, I placed an order for Ulavacharu Paneer Biryani, expecting to enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal. However, upon receiving my order, I was shocked to find that I had been served Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani instead.
This mistake not only goes against my dietary preferences but also leaves me deeply concerned about the attention to detail and accuracy of orders at your establishment. As a loyal customer, I have always appreciated the quality of food and service provided by Biryaniwala. However, this error has left me feeling let down and frustrated.
I kindly request that you take immediate action to rectify this situation. This could include offering a replacement meal of Ulavacharu Paneer Biryani as originally requested or providing a refund for the incorrect order. Additionally, I hope that steps will be taken to prevent such mistakes from occurring in the future to ensure the satisfaction of...
