We use to go there most of the Sundays for take out or dine in and food was fine . But this Sunday we went there and food was absolutely horrible and whole family got sick. My 3 kids love butter chicken and they had it. They all 3 now throwing up and fever and they couldn’t go to school. I have headache after I ate this Sunday. Must be old food or food cross contamination . We will never go back again there . I would recommend this restaurant management please care about your valuable customers. Don’t serve any old food . October 3rd (updated after the restaurant reply)I’m still saying we love your food and in the past we dine in and took lots of take out and no issue . I’m replying to u r response . We were there last Sunday around 7:30 pm and there are no customers . We are the only one table was there. Yes I did told you that food was good. Because I had couple alcohol drinks at the other restaurant in same plaza plus I ordered extra drink at your restaurant . So I don’t think I really told you truth about your food . But next morning my all kids throws up and my wife . I just bring this to your attention . If I want I can call health department to complain to check but I didn’t do that . It’s make me upset your reply telling me that I lied . I’m really sad because my elder daughter love lamb biryani but now she won’t ask me to buy...

Visited for the first time and ordered the Chana Bhatura to go. I am so happy i decided to treat myself and also upset with myself that I did not try sooner. The bhatura, 2 in a serving, were generous in size and oh so fluffy and not overly oily. Despite me bringing it home to eat did not affect the bhatura, it was piping hot and not tough as some bhatura can be if you do not eat them fresh out of the hot oil. The Chana masala was delicious. Beautifully flavoured with warm spices but not spicy at all. I should have asked for a green chilly as I like it hot. The onion pickle was a nice accompaniment to enhance the flavour of the Chana and to give a refreshing bite. Portion size is perfect….enough Chana masala for two bhaturas . I was missing the chana bhatura one can get from the West end but not anymore. Chingari in Whitby is wow….just looking...

There is a new Indian restaurant in Whitby and we happened to try it on day 2 of its opening.

Ufff, the taste just blew our mind. Everything that we ordered was a jackpot.

The chicken kebabs were juicy, soft and perfectly marinated. But, the dish that truly touched our soul was their chicken kadhai. I have never tasted anything like this in entire Toronto. We could tell that the spices were freshly prepared and the taste was an authentic dhaba style chicken kadhai which is how we like to eat back in India. And finally we ordered their rice kheer and gulab jamun, which was a scene stealer too.

It was a perfect place for us family of 4 to enjoy our meal.Back in the car we already started discussing on whether we should try their indo Chinese or goan/amritsari fish curry next...lol

We will definitely keep coming...

I was happy to see another restaurant opening close to my place, tried few things and nothing met my expectations. Food wasn’t flavorful, naans were too doughy, kulcha was disgusting, you can’t even say it’s a kulcha by looking at it. Samosa had a runny and tasteless filling, it wasn’t fresh. Same issue with Paneer makhani, it was just tomato paste with hard pieces of paneer. I ended up throwing $52 worth of food. They should hire a proper chef if they are serious about business. I am leaving an extra star for the hospitality.
