Mamma's Pizza Whitby — Restaurant in Whitby

Just want to share our experience with Mamma’s Pizza on Brock St North. We were stoked to see a new pizza place in Whitby. Our experience was so disappointing!! We first tried to place an order online for delivery on the main website it didn’t work, so we called in for delivery we live about a 7-minute walk away but unfortunately, I couldn’t leave the house. So I placed an order through the staff member that picked up (friendly guy) for delivery!

We ordered at 7:36 pm were told 45 minutes, waited an hr 10 minutes before I called in to ask where the food was, a gentleman said he’s on his way food was delivered at 9:00 pm.

I get it it’s a Saturday night, it’s busy but at least have the decency to tell your customers that it’s going to be longer!  Let’s talk dishes the Calzone which was huge was burnt on the bottom half, was completely dough the very small amount of ingredients that were placed in this was at the very bottom. We still have the whole thing minus the ends cut off. -Lasagna the noodles and sauce have the potential to be amazing the flavours were great it was completely icebox cold when we received it! I quickly reconstructed it, heated it up and added a bit more cheese it was wonderful after that!

-Pepperoni pizza and barbeque chicken bacon The pizza oh the Pizza I have eaten better cardboard than this! It’s bland there is no flavour No BBQ sauce could be tasted it was thin and burnt the pizzas were cold when they arrived, I had high hopes for this place but this order didn’t make the Cut!!

Also, their delivery driver, bless his heart clearly hasn’t been delivering long or has hearing difficulties please be patient with him!

We included our receipt, so you all can see prices and extra costs.

We wish this business well in the future and maybe 1 day will try again.

Amazing pizza !!!!! This is my first time ordering from here and I ordered a double cheese pizza and I have to say it was probably the best slice of pizza I've had in ages!! The man I ordered from I think his name was (Parm) was not only helpful but truly a joy to interact with ! He threw in a surprise when I told him it's my first time ordering ! I cant wait to try EVERYTHING they have!!! You have found yourself a new and loyal customer !! Shoutout to the owner Parm !(First order : 05/04/22)

Since Google will not let me add another review I'm gonna take time and make my earlier post even larger. So I ordered again from mamas pizza and they outdid themselves even more ! Shout out to Simran who made this Bollywood quality!! This pizza place is a new staple of the community and my guaranteed GO To!!! Always peace and love king jegan!!...

Driving by Mamma's several times, thought I'd give them a try, ordered a walk in 2 topping medium pizza, was told it would take about 20 minutes. Took much longer than that and I could see why when I got home, it was so overdone dry and tough to eat, the edges were visibly overdone edging on burnt. Not at all what was expected, very disappointing, first and last order, too bad. And added to that the owner who was out on a delivery returned and knew my pizza should be done, took out the pizza and could see it was overcooked still chose to slice it and give it to me.
