Stay clear of this location. Not sure what is going on inside that they can not EVER get an order right. After several attempts at ordering through Uber eats and Skip only to always have items missing. Key items that would warrant ruining a meal as not everyone in the family is getting what they ordered. Uber or Skip are no help. I don't want a refund. I want the missing item so that we can have our meal. The store is no help either. Not only are they rude and dismissive they do not offer any solutions other than direct your to contact Uber of Skip.
So know the drive through. They also consistently miss packing items but the worst is the FRAUD that is being committed every day to multiple customers. So you order a meal, they will automatically, without asking you, upgrade your drink to a medium. The meal comes with a small drink. They upgrade you to a medium at YOUR expense. Imagine they do this to every order, every meal all day every day. I have pointed this out several times and have also informed them if they don't change their ways and If they do it again I will call head office as what they are doing is FRAUD. Yesterday was the last straw. Not only was my order missing a large fry and 2 Cheeseburgers, they also charged me on My Big Mac combo for a Medium drink. And by they way MCDonalds!!! Using a large fry container and filling it as if it were a small fry doesn't make it a LARGE FRY. We are noticing what you are doing.
The staff here need some serious training to do their job properly. I mean if all you need to do is read a slip of paper and pack already made food into a brown paper bag and you can't even get that right. There is no hope for the future of these dense people.
I will never return here. I will make the drive to Consumers and 401. Out of my way but this Mcdonald's is...
Read moreVery disappointed with my experience at McDonald's (at 200 Taunton Road East, Whitby) yesterday. I had two separate order receipts, both disappeared from the display screen whithout me having been served either. This all happened while i was waiting in front of the serving counter with my family! When i informed the staff and manager, the manager told me that i should listen when they call out the order number. Which never happened! The nerve!! I eventually received my coffee. So, when I went back to the counter, receipt in hand to inform of my second order taking too long and having gone missing, the manager took the receipt, crumbled it up and threw it away... I was in disbelief... he assumed that I was there to complain about the first order. He listened after I had to ask tell him again that this was a separate item. I had to re-tell my order as he was unable to find the receipt he had just thrown away, before finally getting my order. A very frustrating experience indeed. Granted the restaurant was busy, I helplessly watched my first order (a coffee) being given to another customer... because no number was called out. It was only when the other customer came back complaining that her order was incorrect, that she had asked for no sugar. This is when i was finally able to go to the counter to ask why my order was taking so long and point out the mistake the staff had made. We probably waited around for 10 to 12 minutes watching other customers being served while our orders were in the display screen under 'now being served', but no number being called out. Read moreWorst experience in my life. I arrived at Mcdonaldsdrive thru for 11:11 pm. I originally waited 10 minutes before arriving to the mic to order. Only problem was one car was ahead of me and was stalled because the staff decided not to serve the drive thru. As I got to the speaker the to order a gift card I was told I cannot order a gift card in the drive thru. At this point I been in line for so long I decided to order something small. I ordered a McDouble and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. We had client back out of the drive thru from the mic causing danger to other drivers. As I arrived to the drive thru front I asked the manager Tia what was taking so long she immediately blamed it on staffing and proceeded to say she prioritized the line in the front and had the drive thru on hold to make food. I told her that’s not how your suppose to manage she should clear the 5 cars in line and work alongside getting the orders in the front. The manager Tia walked away, didn’t not want to make it right. At the end the person handing out the food on the drive thru was not giving the receipt on the order to prevent other clients from making the complaint. I needed to request for the receipt and name as no employee were wearing a name tag.
What made it worst is the manager Tia thought she was in the right, refused to compensate or do anything to make up for the 20 minute trapped wait in the drive thru as car where infront and behind me preventing from anyone to leave.
When I took a bit into the sandwich the bread was crispy and seemed dried, I could not turn back to wait in line again to receive a different sandwich that was rock hard bread.
