Went to drivethrough paid with my app which is attached to my credit card. It beeped but girl claimed it didnt go through. Charged me $5.20 in cash, pulled over checked my credit card it was charged $5.18 for 2 large teas. Showed manager at restaurant she claimed it didnt go through on tbeir end and that it was a pending charge on my credit card. My points went through, the charge went through. I had to go in and wait 15 minutes. She had no concept that all charges on credit card are pending. I know its only $5.18 but she is a scammer and took my money. No receipt, kept saying the charge is pending on my credit card. How did it beep on their end and charge my credit card used on the tim hortons app if it didnt go through. Her lacking in professionalism, scamming customers for $5.18, no knowledge of how the app works, no receipt. Hope you enjoy stealing my $5.18 you are seriously a pathetic scammer. Obviously my review cant be that concerning to the owner, I filled out a form as per her suggestion no response back. Read moreMy family has been going to Tim Hortons for years. We've always been offered a free Timbit for our dog when we would bring him on occasion. Since getting my own two dogs, every time I've brought them with me to Tim Hortons, I've bought a ten pack of Timbits to share some with them considering I have two now. Every time I've done this at the drive through, at a few different locations, I've been asked if my dogs would like a Timbit (and I say I bought the pack to share with them), or they tell me I don't have to pay for a Timbit for my pups. It's lovely! But I've still purchased them most of the time. This visit was different. Instead of buying a pack I was just hoping for one each but they immediately charged me and laughed at me for questioning why and when this had changed and sharing my previous experiences. This is not an automatic expectation of mine but it would be good for locations to be on the same page. Unfortunately just much less reason for us to choose Timmy's over other alternatives. I’ve been visiting this location for a couple of years, and unfortunately, the service has only gone downhill. Every visit seems to bring a new level of frustration.
As a frequent drive-through customer, I’ve experienced countless issues with my orders, from items being consistently missed to unnecessary and unreasonable requests from the staff. For example, one time, an employee insisted I provide my name instead of my order number, claiming the order numbers could be duplicated. Seriously? Even a child knows order numbers are unique.
Today’s experience was the final straw. I was told to place a mobile order and then come inside to pick it up because others were waiting. Isn’t the whole point of the drive-through and mobile ordering system to provide convenience and efficiency?
