Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Whitchurch-Stouffville

wandered in here around 10:30 pm one night because it was the only thing open and i was wasting time waiting for my boyfriend to finish work. had a slice, it was pretty nasty. mid dip. but the nastiest part was the owner, mike, flirting with me, a teenage girl, after telling him i was a student. started off casual, asking about my day and all that, and i shared that i worked at a pizza place as well. he offered me a job opportunity for a new location. i stupidly agreed and gave him my phone number. he immediately started flirting with me, touching my hands and complimenting me and texting me while i was still in the store. after a few minutes, he came out from the kitchen to ask why i wasnt texting him back. i said my phone was dead and he offered to bring me behind the counter to charge my phone. checked my phone later when i had left, and he asked me out on a date. i was scared beyond belief, being the only person in the restaurant besides this dude late at night. pizza didnt even make up for it. probs a good late night spot if youre not a teen girl, so would recommend if you don't fit that criteria and you're not looking for anything that tastes...

I have been a customer of Pizza Nova for decades throughout several cities. I hate to say it but this branch is the worst one I can think of in terms of fulfilling orders for home delivery. The delivery is quick and the in-store staff (for pick-up) are super friendly but whoever is working the ovens is inconsistent. I prefer my pizza "well done" and this branch more often than not, fails at this. Sometimes they nail it but usually don't. I ordered a lasagna from this branch is it was almost only just warm. Is the oven broken? Or does the cook not know what he is doing? It is one of the two. Nova in general is my favourite pizza chain and has been for years and years. Somehow, the Stouffville branch doesn't know how to cook. Shouldn't they all be the same?

I ordered again tonight, a few weeks later. I had not written the call center at this point. My order was again not fulfilled so I called for a replacement which I will have to do from now on it would seem. I then took your advice and wrote the call center...we will see what happens.

First time I ordered from this place I received a pizza with a package of silica underneath it. Second time I ordered from here I show up to pick up the pizza and it’s the wrong order. I ask the guy to remake it and he just kept pointing at the receipt and telling me that it wasn’t their fault and that I had to call pizza nova, he said that to me while I was standing inside a pizza nova. I wasn’t going to write a review (I didn’t the first time) but now I feel like I’d be silly not to… He ended up calling the pizza nova line, passing me the phone and had me explain what happened to the person on the phone who then told him to remake the pizza…..
