Quality of Food has gone waaaay down as well as customer service in many restaurants, but I had enough of being bullied and rudley spoken too. I'm not paying to be yelled at, lied too and given ridiculous excuses to qualify as customer service. With quarentine, Due to everyone being under the weather, I kept it light main item to be soup. I Ordered a large hot sour soup, in past a lrg. Soup came in 2 containers. Regular soup being in 1. As I have experienced from the Asian restaurants in white rock. Being brought a single container that would feed 1 person was very confusing. With the order being $53!! Included wings and chicken dgugung ( sorry for spelling). To be told that maybe I should order 2 containers next time. To speak and handle there business, toO a long time customer. Was so disgusting! nauseated, even more, the only medicine for this treatment is to warn others of this toxic service, and hope other restaurants continue with the noticable contagious growth of Disrespectful symptoms, towards there long time and faithful clients. To keep up there integrity and reminder that we are the ones that they are still in business For. Our long standing and Classic Golden Lion however, the other day sent out driver just to drop off a forgotten hot mustard! Thank you Golden for the kind Words of concern for such a small item, and your out of way service of sending a driver to fix this and make sure your customer has everything at home as if they were there in person. With all the news about how restaurants were having such a hard time with the pandemic, and the high cost of food delivery companies, and the fact that the take out menu offers 10% off for pickup, we thought that would be the best option. On the phone order we specifically told the person who answered that we wanted to pick the order up and would get the 10% discount. He asked at the end of the $150.00 order how we would be paying and we replied that it would be Visa. So far so good, right? Got the restaurant and all of a sudden the discount only applies to cash payment. What? That was never indicated in the either the phone call or on the menu. And we thought we were doing them a favour by picking up the order. Had we placed the order for delivery it would have cost them all whole lot more than 10% for the delivery company on top of the 3% merchant cost for Visa. Very disappointed. Read moreI don’t believe I have ever rated a restaurant before but our experience this evening was so disappointing that I am taking the time to put it in writing. I had often wondered about this restaurant due to its proximity to the parking lot of Coast Capital Playhouse. So I suggested to my friend that we park our cars and walk over for a meal before the performance. We had the dinner for two and it was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I am always up for taking leftovers home but not tonight. The waitress was pleasant but the people who could have been the owners were very annoying, sitting near our table and playing programs or something aloud on their phones.
