Tandoori Flare — Restaurant in White Rock

I love to share my experience with this restaurant.I to ordered chicken Biryani, butter chicken and naan. Butter chicken gravy is so yum. But they still need to learn how to make chicken pieces. When someone ordered naan from the restaurant. They expect freshly made naan but instead, they sent readymade naan. Chicken Biryani was delicious. Moreover , I made special request in the uber app as well as specially call the restaurant to provide some Onion and mint sauce along with the food, but they were not courtesy enough to pay attention to my request . I would never order from here again. So disappointed. Restaurant need to work in kitchen as well as on customer service .

For your kind information i called uber eats to add notes to provide onion and mint sauce . Because there is no option on uber eats to buy it . Then i called two times at your restaurant. The first time they put me on long hold after saying transferring your call to the kitchen. I wait for 5 minutes then i call again. You are providing discount for your own benefits. I am paying for my uber one subscription. So don't sound like that you are doing some charity or...

I previously left a rather negative review for Tandoori Flare back in 2020 based on limited experience. Out of my own ignorance, I didn't know it was Diwali that day. I would've been much more understanding had I known that.

We eventually returned to give them another try, and we're so glad we did. We've ordered here numerous times since then, and this restaurant is now our go-to for local Indian cuisine. The service for takeout has consistently been fast and excellent. Orders occasionally took longer on busy evenings, but they always communicated it accurately on the phone.

On the quality of the food, they are among the best in the White Rock/South Surrey area in my opinion. We've dined at numerous Indian restaurants in the area, and I think Tandoori Flare comes out on top. The dishes are not overwhelmingly salty or sweet, which allows the more subtle flavours to really come through. I really enjoy their Malai Chicken Tikka in creamy cashew-based sauce. The Vegetable Samosas are packed full of wonderful spices. We're often pleasantly surprised with the generous serving sizes.

A few days ago, I went to this restaurant again and ordered food. A lady at the counter told me to come back in 15 minutes to pick it up. I ordered biryani and requested it to be mild, but when I got home and started eating, it was extremely spicy. I could only eat a few bites before I had to stop. She clearly misunderstood my request and made the dish way too spicy for me. Now, a week later, I’m still dealing with a skin allergy reaction caused by the chili. In my opinion, she should work more attentively, with a better and happier attitude, as she has a responsibility in her job.
