Burger Baron — Restaurant in Whitecourt

I usually don't complain about restaurants that I do like. I do come to this place often as the food is good. However as a loyal customer for over 2 years and family loyalty for 20 years. I was really upset when I ordered the shrimp dinner tonight. On the menu it says 10 shrimp dinner with fries and a bun for 12 something. I ask the attendant at drive thru if the shrimp are large she says yes it's a big meal. I order and get home to eat. When I get home I struggle to not be upset about what I received. 7... 7 not 10... tinnnny shrimp dried out and sick looking. I call to tell them my order was shorted. My bun and 3 shrimp. She says we changes the amount to 8... Still don't have 8... and I said you said it was a large dinner with large shrimp...which they are not and your menu says 10.. She said sorry that's our order size now and hangs up. No fixing the meal that is still short plus the bun. I think I'll go elsewhere from now on and so will my family. Went in yesterday , order was wrong called the restraunt , was told to bring order back to have it replaced with what was actually ordered, so drive back wait again to be served , then the lady not the owner argued with me, after I was told it’s ok to bring it back and have it replaced so I wait another ten mins they open the window and the lady hands back my money , no food then tells me if I want my order I have to pay again, so in total I waited inline drove there and back there and back about an hour and and we were already hungry hence why we went there coming off the highway from hockey in Edmonton for my kid, totally rude and this was not the first time the foods been messed up but i find it only happens when the owner is not there , the bag was soaked in oil stains, I called to speak to the owner today and was told by her that she is really busy with orders said she would call later and hung up ,, this is not a good way to be with customers not impressed what so ever , but it seems to be par for our...

Stopped in again today and ordered my usual Orange Milkshake...I shouldn't but they are just my favorite! Instead of my order of cheese bites (amazing btw) had the dad's burger and ordered the Western Burger combo that was on Specail. Omgoodness so good! I might have hac to sample both burgers? Definitely recommend both! Service is always so friendly. I appreciate and value the owner and her friendly nature so much. Feels like a quick friendly visit each time I drive through.
