Legends Smokehouse & Grill — Restaurant in Whitehorse

This is my favorite place to eat in Whitehorse! In 2018, I worked in Whitehorse for 7 months! 1st thing we wanted was Nachos...I googled "best Nachos in Whitehorse", and a different restaurant popped up! BUT They were out of business! So Legends was next on the list! We went there, ordered the Nachos. Spicy Beef! OH it was so good...the right amount of everything. Great price. This became our weekly place to hang out at with our work Team, after our busiest day of the week! I always ordered NACHOS for the table, (some weeks only 1 order some weeks up to 4 orders) the quality stayed the same all 7 months! I should also mention that everyone of us that went also ordered platters, burgers, spaghetti, the nightly special...there was NEVER any complaints! I calculated, in that 7 months time, I personally spent $600-$800, JUST ON NACHOS, for everyone at our tables! Staff were great. Now I'm back in Calgary, and only travel to Whitehorse 1-2 times a year, but when I am there, you bet I visit Legends, and order Nachos!...

This is for the Fireweed Cabin although I think the spots in the Yukon Inn have essentially the same menu. Has one person bought all the restaurants in Whitehorse and dropped the quality? Went to the Cabin today to get the great burger that I remember, and I just don’t get how things can be this way. I was the only person there, it took forever, some of the ingredients weren’t added per the menu, and the rest were just tiny strips like a translucent piece of tomato. No mention of missing ingredients, nobody asked me if I wanted another drink, and about as much enthusiasm as a funeral. I was looking forward to bringing friends here in the fall. Well, another place not to go. “Feb 2025 - First visit with family. I didn’t know this place existed. Really like the atmosphere / decoration with all the wood pillars. Service was good they had a lot of orders and take outs too but we were seated and served fast. Great fries. Pretty standard fare but the ingredients were good quality. Some big tables too, with many beside...

I like the eggs Benny options. There was only 1 portion of bannock available when we ordered the blackstone or you'd get another star. I appreciate adding fruit as an option. I'm curious because, it tastes like half fresh half canned otherwise great sub for their hashbrowns.

Can you please check in with the cooks? One of them needs to stop overloading your hashbrowns with table salt. The breakfast a couple weeks ago, made my tongue raw from the amount of salt the cook covered them in. I never leave hashbrowns on my plate but they were absolutely ruined so I couldn't eat them.
