Canadian Indigenous works of art - what better gift to give at Christmas! The mugs are stunning in colour, quality and artistry. We love the scenes depicted on them and the choice of artists to choose from. The Christmas cards will be a repeat next year as they are different yet highly appropriate in content for this blessed Season. We love how to paintings on the cards depict the nativity and also the three wise men from the Indigenous perspective rather than what is typically (and boringly) produced and found in local stores. We are glad that this meaning of Christmas is available in cards like these which we purchased from North End Gallery. A few years ago we were camping in Northern Saskatchewan and I saw a print of a grizzly bear painted by a local Indigenous artist. I never ended up buying anything and regretted it until this day. We have since moved from Canada to Texas. I had a friend looking after our home while we were gone on vacation. As a thank you, I wanted to get her some Indigenous artwork. I searched many websites and found North End Gallery. Their collections were beautiful. I ended up ordering several pieces for my friend and one for me. They were shipped very quickly and when they arrived, they were packaged extremely carefully. The prints were on canvas and were beautifully framed. This store is authentic and amazing. We were thrilled to support these indigenous generational artisans. I easily found them online, and my order shipped efficiently and well packaged. I gifted my sister an eagle cuff bracelet for her birthday which brought her to tears over the meaning and craftsmanship. I loved it so much I bought myself a hummingbird one, since the delicate strong graceful bird is symbolic for the me/cfs community, a disease I deal with and try to survive with the same grace and fortitude.
