Absolutely disgusting business practices. Avoid this place at all costs! Ordered pizza at 6:30 PM and tracking showed approximately 40 minutes. By 7:30 PM I had not received my pizza and the tracker showed delivered. Called the restaurant and the first staff member advised that he spoke with the delivery driver who said they delivered it. I explained it must’ve been delivered to the wrong house as I did not receive it. Staff member argued that he’s looking at the photo the delivery driver took and that it is the right house. I explained that if it was the right house, I’d have my pizza and had to tell the staff member to Google maps my address and he would notice it wouldn’t match the photo the driver took. Staff member explained he would have to look into this with the owner and call me back in 30 mins. Did not receive a call back so I called back and the lady staff member who answered advised that she was supposed to call me but forgot. She then proceeded to tell me that her colleague told her to tell me that again, it was delivered to the right house. I had to explain all over again that it was not the right house and I’d have my pizza if it was correct. She then put me on hold to grab another staff member. This now 3rd staff member got on the phone and yet again, advised that they had delivered to the right house. For a 3rd time, I had to re-explain that it was delivered to the wrong house and to Google maps it. Staff member put me on hold and grabbed a 4th member. This 4th staff member advised he searched my address on Google maps and confirmed that it in fact did NOT match the picture the delivery driver took. He advised he would send a new order out right away and include free pizza. I advised I did not want the free pizza and wanted a refund to which he replied that the store is unable to provide refunds as it was ordered through the website. He told me that in order to get a refund, I would have to submit a feedback form online. I’ve submitted the feedback form and also called the customer service line to which I got a response stating that the refunds are issued by the store itself! Owner reached out to me to apologize and offer free pizza which again, is not what I want as I requested a refund. Owner refused to provide a refund and used the excuse that his staff are new. Staff being new has nothing to do with this and frankly is a lame excuse. It is basic common courtesy to not treat your customers as if they’re liars. It is also extremely ridiculous that I received my pizza 3 hours later! All of this non-sense and hassle and the owner refuses to give a refund and just offers free pizza? For what? So I can have it delivered to the wrong house again? No thank you! Complete joke of a franchise. If you enjoy being disrespected and called a liar, definitely come here! I actually don’t mind papa johns pizzas as I’ve had them before at other locations, I enjoy the garlic sauce/butter that comes with it and I really love the pickled peppers on the side. That’s really the main reasons I order from here and their pizza is not so bad. However this location was a disappointment. I was craving a cheesy pizza. Decided to order one through SkipTheDishes. I decided to add mushrooms this time as well. When I order a cheese pizza I expect the main event to be the cheese! Gooey and stringy! I chose the cheese pizza option, added my mushrooms as a extra topping, and then as another additional topping (so that means a upcharge) I chose three cheese blend. Because I wanted this to be a really gooey cheesy pizza, I almost added “extra cheese” as well as a additional topping. But then I said no, this is a cheese pizza so they will probably add their standard pizza mozza first AND THEN ON TOP OF IT add the three cheese blend I am paying for. Well, when it came, it already looked disappointing. I took a bite and sure enough, the cheese layer was SO THIN. I questioned if they even added their normal amount of cheese and the additional three cheese blend I paid for OR IF they just opted out of the standard amount and just gave me three cheese blend INSTEAD as a substitute . Which I don’t think that’s fair. I am paying for an ADDITIONAL TOPPING. That means it is additional on top of how you would already prepare your standard cheese pizza. I called this location and the customer service was terrible. I asked if they add the three cheese blend instead when people ask for it or if it is on top of what they already put on the cheese pizza. She told me YES when people pay for that they do three cheese instead. When I complained to her that paying for a three cheese blend is an EXTRA TOPPING, that should not replace what their standard topping is, I am paying for an ADDITIONAL topping. Then she back peddled and changed her story and said “oh I was the one who made your pizza and I did add pizza mozza on top of the three cheese blend”. Her story changed. I continued to complain that even if she said that’s what she did, there was hardly any cheese on that CHEESE Pizza and it was super thin layer considering what I was paying. Although I was expecting lots of cheese, this pizza was even below normal standards as the cheese layer was so thin and cheap, so sparse. Very sad for a “cheese” pizza. She didn’t do anything for me just laughed and said oh I’m sorry. I was not getting any where with her considering she changed her story so I felt she was dishonest and not genuine so I ended the convo. I ended up complaining to SkipTheDishes and got some compensation back. Highly disappointed in this location.. and from what I see, other peoples reviews say the same about the quality of the pizzas and the customer service. Not sure I’ll order from this location...
Read moreWhen I got in to place my order, there were already 2 guys there, both of whom seemed to be getting completely ignored by the cashier on the phone. There was only one other person staffed to make whatever amount of pizzas and other foods that were being ordered. So right away, you guys need more staff. That way, when one person is on the phone, a second person can step out of the kitchen to handle the counter while a third continues to work on the food. Your customers aren't left in the dust that way. Some folks think it's helpful to serve your customers. Eventually, the cook took over the phone for some reason, and the two of them started arguing with each other. Which, thumbs up guys. How very professional of you. Arguing in front of customers. Eventually my turn to order came up, and as I approached the counter, the cashier held up a hand and told me to wait a second. No, "Please" or anything, I guess my presence was a big inconvenience to him.
The food is good, but my god guys... Teach your staff some basic manners, to not yell at each other in front of customers, and consider getting a third person on shift.
