A&W Canada — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I gave this place one last chance today, but the guys ruined everything. These situations are very unpleasant for me and I want the management to have a conversation with the employees. Situation one: the guy on the island punched my order wrong and when I got the wrong boyudo, I told him about it, he immediately apologized and offered me to pay again and get a new order. The second situation: I ordered a burger and clarified that I should not eat onions (I have a severe allergy), when issuing the cashier, the girl called my name and clarified that it was without onions, but when I opened the package, I saw onions. I came back and told her about it, after which she asked the guy in the kitchen to remove the onion from the burger, but I asked to make a new burger, the guy made a new burger, but what struck me the most was that he took the patty out of the burger and wiped off the excess sauce with a napkin and left for other guests. It's an A&W and per the usual. The woman who runs it takes her stuff seriously and provides a good clean place! I just cant ger over the fact that their new plant based burger is arrogantly priced at the same value as meat burgers! I had a friend try n give me some hooey about development costs and meat prices justifying them being on par. I will never choose plants over meat in that form if the cost is exploitive like they're doing at A&W with their new offering. I visited this restaurant last night at 6:10pm. I had a coupon for a cheddar bacon uncle burger. The cashier (I believe her name was Navpreet) told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. I asked why because I worked for a&w and the uncle patties take no longer than 12 minutes. She told me they were cleaning the grill, mid supper rush. When the food came out 25 minutes later, it was cold. When I asked why she told me it was because the grill was being cleaned.
