Was stopped at the adjacent lights and the $2.99 for two samosas and a drink caught my eye. Turned in and was not disappointed. For the price, you cannot beat this deal. The samosas were substantial and delicious. Spice was light, but the included sauce (chutney?) was sweet and spicy providing a nice balance. I opted for the chai with my samosas. Almost too sweet, haha. For the potential negatives: The samosa was mostly filled with potato, making it less exciting than other samosas. The chai was too sweet for me. Both the samosa and tea could have used a bit more kick. Waiting time was longer than expected, but maybe because the samosas were fried fresh? I wouldn't doubt it. Overall, highly recommend you stop in and try this restaurant and see for yourself!

Not the best of Biryani that i had in Winnipeg but its fine to try out. It's a decent restaurant at Ellice Avenue surrounding the neighborhood of the University of Winnipeg. I saw several takeaway orders being taken from this place but i was dining in. The staff is nice and friendly, however the biryani doesn't seem to have the authentic flavours, it seemed like an assortment of chicken and basmati rice that's it. The preparation has massive room for improvement. The mango lassi was okayish. Would try some other food next time.

I want to say we heard amazing things. The owners and staff are so kind. We loved the feeling and interactions. They even gave us a sample of chicken soup, so nice. I really didn’t like anything, the microwave was beeping lots and it tasted reheated. Even the nan bread was no flavor and terrible texture, maybe my least favorite nan bread. The chana Marsala was old the chicken biryani was old and microwaved. The butter chicken was 3 tiny chunks of chicken. The yogurts all not delicious. Will try again another time

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bread n Biryani, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish!

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a memorable meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service throughout the evening.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. Bread n Biryani has truly mastered the art of blending flavors and spices to create dishes that are a feast for the senses. The biryani was perfectly cooked, with each grain of rice infused with aromatic spices, and the biryani was tender and flavorful. The bread options were a fantastic accompaniment, freshly baked and served with a variety of delectable dips.

What impressed me the most was the attention to detail in every dish. The presentation was impeccable, showcasing the chef's dedication to both taste and aesthetics. It's evident that the chefs at Bread n Biryani take pride in their craft.

The menu offered a wide range of options, catering to various preferences, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. The diversity of flavors and textures made it difficult to choose a favorite dish, as each one was a culinary masterpiece.

The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that even the heartiest appetites would leave satisfied. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food arrived promptly, and the staff remained attentive without being intrusive.

In conclusion, Bread n Biryani is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply appreciate exceptional food, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a full belly, a happy heart, and a newfound appreciation for the artistry behind Indian culinary traditions. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu at...

My recent visit to Bread and Biryani left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. Having heard decent reviews about their biryanis, I decided to try the Chicken and Goat biryanis. Firstly, the Chicken Biryani was dry and lacked flavor. The pieces of chicken were overcooked and tough, making it a struggle to chew. The rice was clumpy and tasted bland, as if it had been sitting out for far too long before being served. As for the Goat Biryani, it was even worse. The goat pieces were not only chewy but also had a strange aftertaste that was quite off-putting. The spices used were either too overpowering or completely absent, resulting in a dish that was neither aromatic nor enjoyable. I would recommend going to Clay oven, Copper Chimney, Indian food Corner, or Punjab food corner for Biryanis. Don't ever come here to just waste your...

3 out of 10 not recommended. They spice everything up, even when you ask for medium/mild. Its nothing but heartburn.

I ordered the $15 Chicken Tikka Gravy, which had massive chucks of chicken that smelled funky with big pieces of onion and green pepper. It looked and tasted like a mess.

The $5.99 masala fries were mediocre. They state in the menu that they coat fries with spices but that's false advertising. Few fries had spices the rest were plain fries.

They charged me a $3.99 for garlic naan which was lathered in butter and no garlic.

I get that inflation is causing people/restaurants to save but then don't cheat on your customers. My halal money just went down the drain. There are better restaurants charging the same. Taste of Karachi is...
