Burger King — Restaurant in Winnipeg

The food I find takes a bit longer, but it's always hot, never cold and stale, and always tastes good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and it's very clean.

HOWEVER!!

They need to get their act together and stop letting these disgusting panhandlers that are filthy and high as a kite wander around asking for money and trying to sell off the stuff they just stole from Home Depot next door. Today was by far the worst yet! They let a disgusting male who went around at least 3 times to the same people asking for money, then had the bathroom door wide open and was using the hand sanitizer to bath his body in the open. I felt physically ill when he began lowering his pants and washing his privates with handfuls of sanitizer, even with a child in plain sight!

The workers even knew he was there and did absolutely nothing! There are so many descriptive words one could use in this situation that I'd probably reach a character limit on here. Because they do not act, they continue to allow this filth inside a restaurant and scare away paying customers. This place is like an outhouse for these people! That really says a lot about business operations...

Then the guy went to the drink area with his freshly stolen Home Depot gloves on (saw him rip the tags off) and leaned his face against the neon sign...and the staff just LET HIM DO IT! How do we know he's not putting his mouth all over the drink dispensers afterwards, because it's not like the staff care about what he does. You want to scare customers away? THAT is how you...

The food itself is VERY good, but the workers during nights is not so good. Here are some things that went wrong. 1. In the drive thru, we weren't able to understand the workers correctly and the sounded unclear. 2. Our fries got mixed up with a drink and witnessed the workers just pour out the drink that got mixed up in the sink.(If this happened and I was a worker at Burger King, I would give the drink for free) 3. Our drinks ended up getting ice even though we've said that we wanted no ice and the workers said "no ice, sure". 4. Food was split in the bags and probably was due to improper placement. 5. Food was EXTREMELY salty however it was okay due ti the condiments they gave out. It was specifically this Burger King and I'm not sure about the other branches throughout the city. This was on the 4th of April 2025 at approximately 2:40-2:50ish time in the morning. This usually doesn't happen during the day and it actually quite nice during the day but just VERY different...

Honestly the worst burger king location I've ever been to. They are terribly slow here, the customer service is friendly but they really have no idea how to operate this location.. I've come to the drive thru on a few occasions and every time they ask me to pull up and wait at the front when there is nobody else ordering.. my mistake for choosing this location during my lunch hour at work on a Wednesday, now I have no time to eat my food. I asked if they can add an extra patty on my burger for an additional cost and they told me they are not allowed to do that!? I've been here about a dozen times prior to making a review. My whole 30 min lunch break was spent in this drive thru no thanks to the way this location is being operated. They should hire more staff perhaps im not sure why this location is so bad. Again super friendly, other than that...
