Cozy, trendy little cafe, with a park nearby if you are walking in the area. Me and my mocha spent some time together.
They suggested I try the oat milk in my mocha, which I did, and I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'm crazy about it; it may be an acquired taste. She did say how she felt it had a taste closer to milk, so if you are looking for that sort of alternative to milk, that may be the choice for you! They also have almond and soy milk alternatives, for an extra $0.75.
The prices are similar to Starbucks, so you are paying for quality here. My mocha was just over $5. The place is a little small, so it may be worth calling ahead to see if there are places to sit. There are also a few tables outside on the sidewalk.

Read moreGreat friendly & fast service, delicious cappuccino & croissant- my perfect breakfast on the go. In the St. Boniface neighbourhood, small cafe with limited space (from out on the street you can see the Human Rights Museum within sight just on the other side of the river.) In late Feb when I visited they had special drinks celebrating Festival du Voyageur. Without a doubt the best espresso and americano I've had outside of Europe. A small, comfortable place with a great attitude and phenomenal coffee. The runaway best of the four I tried in Winnipeg. I think warm and cozy were invented for Café Postal. And both the hot chocolate and herbal tea were given rave reviews. Will be back every time I'm in...
