Very cute space. Great location and very polite staff. We had miso soup and wakame salad to start, then I had 3 veggie rolls and my sister that the bibimbap and the CSS roll. We both shared a pot of green tea. Pros : The wakame was excellent! Was a great taste and texture and beautiful plating. We both loved out main plates. For myself the veggie rolls could have had cream cheese as an option or even some spicy sauce dabbled on to the plate, but all in all it was tasty, and fresh. My sister absolutely loved bibimbap hot dish where the egg yolk ran into the dish once punctured. Her smoked salmon smelled so decadent and she said it was amazeballs. Less of a pro : The green tea was a tea bag, when buying tea in a restaurant I would expect it to be loose leaf and have that fresh full flavour. And the miso had a very gritty texture and more of a salty flavour than I would like to see in a miso. Also it would be nice to see a sushi place offer a gluten-free tempura option. Overall I would definitely go here again!

A quaint little restaurant just off the Stephenson Hwy. Near enough to The Forks & main St Boniface attractions. The server was attentive, despite being the only one on the floor. There were a lot of take-out orders coming through, but the chef seemed to prioritize well because we got our food at a desirable waiting time. The food itself was pretty good; normal rolls were fresh and straightforward. If you do go here, try at least one of their special rolls, because that is where they shine. They have one of the more creative and eye-catching plates of special rolls in town at this certain price range. SUSHI PIZZA: It had a really nice crust and the salmon worked really well with their sauce. I also can't complain about the overload of yam flakes on it because I love those DYNAMITE ROLL: Opted for the spicy dynamite and the shrimp tempura inside was nice and crunchy. Definitely more on the casual side and open environment.

I've eaten here more than once. It's a cute Korean run Japanese restaurant. The tuna gomae is a good deal with spinach, avocado and tuna. I was less impressed with the Tako kimchi, the portion felt smaller considering price compared to other places in the city. Presentation was nice though. I included a picture of one of their basic maki's as I think it's a sign of a good restaurant. The price was good for the amount of fish. The ramen soup was good even if it was made with what was reminiscent of instant noodles. I will continue to frequent this place now that I live around here. Will keep you up to date on it's food and may modify it's Stars to reflect it's growth. I noticed it was nominated for one of the best sushi place in the metro. They were asking for votes.

I always enjoyed this restaurant, but today I went, I was seated presented with a lunch menu the server told me with the lunch menu then came back 5 minutes later when you ordered and said you can talk for lunch menu. Oh, how are we supposed to know what your lunch menu time is over if you don't tell her and you give it to us to order off of? They were training staff so it was three or four minutes past 2:30 p.m. Chole who claimed to be the owner said it was past 2:30 p.m. and we could not order after we already ordered. Got into a verbal dispute. I was a consumer, and I would never go back to this restaurant. Why should I spend money in a place that is so ignorant of training their employees? The worst experience. The attitude... the eye rolling! I was actually afraid that her eyes were going to get stuck in the back of her head as she was trying to contemplate that it was 2 to 3 minutes past 2:30 by the time we did our order it was the lunch menu that was offered. and we were told and gave the order, and then it was we can order other stuff. Unbelievable where's the customer service screw covid. Cuz it's over and customers want customer service plain and simple. I pay for a service. I pay the restaurant the owner, Etc, to provide a product that I want to eat. I take my time my money to go to this restaurant to be treated like I wasn't worthy of the menu. Ridiculous feeling. We want customer service and we...
