Got myself a decaf caramel latte. Asked for it at my normal temp and they delivered. No latte design art on top though. The people who work here are very friendly and casual. It felt like you were meeting up with old friends (albeit that you don't know well) The cafe itself is designed well and is very aesthetically pleasing. Wood chairs with backs on the side, higher stools with leather (might be faux) backing at a bar in the front. Then couches in the back so a few different seating options. They also have a small patio out front. Parking is currently problematic as they are doing constructions outside. We ended up parking in the lot closer to Constance pop and walking. We asked where could we park. They suggested there or in front even though it says no parking. So far no one's been ticketed I'm told. Their food is from la baguette and pronuts from what I saw in the display cases.

The cortado I ordered in store was good but I'm not a fan of the bag of beans I purchased. It would be nice to have a decaf coffee option later in the day. First off I don't understand why the roast date is not on any of their bags of coffee. I purchased a bag of their "light roast" Cafe Guatemala. The light roast is surprisingly dark compared to other roasters. In the photo the Cafe Guatemala is on the right which is quite a bit darker next to a Discovery Coffee medium roast on the left. For the best tasting espresso the beans need to be used within a month of being roasted; not really possible if you don't know how old the beans are. I tried using these beans for chemex/pour-over and found the coffee to have a burnt taste. Not really what I was expecting to taste given it is supposed to be light roast. I'll be sticking to beans that I know are fresh from now on.

A new family favourite!! We stumbled in by chance and found a true gem! There was wonderful service- even offering our toddlers “babycinnos.” The kids thoroughly enjoyed the Connection 4 while we settled in with our tea lattes and enjoyed the incredible live music. Feels like a neighbourhood hangout with dogs & friends gathered inside and out. We will absolutely be coming back. Taste 10/10- love the babyccino drinks Ambience 4/5 private sitting spaces, artwork, inside/outside, live music, games Cup Aesthetic 4/5 love that it’s “Consciously chosen and responsibly sourced” Price -4/5 fair and average. Service -5/5 above and beyond

Love the coffee (Latte) and the almond croissants! Just 2 little things I would recommend to improve because I am a high maintenance type of girl loool jk!

for the staff who takes the orders and the barista who prepares the coffee to clearly communicate if the order is for take out or dine in to avoid the little hick ups :) I just love to enjoy my coffee in a mug when I have the time to actually sit down and enjoy it instead of the take out cups.

if someone does call in to pre order a coffee not to just ignore that order, because when I called I was expecting to come in- my coffee would be already ready - I would pay and go, I do understand when it's busy - but then the staff could simply say - sorry, but we can't do that right now we have a line up and need to work on current orders before we can start with yours, but I came in - got in line, ordered, paid, as I have never called - all people in front of me got their coffee first, of course, so I could have simply saved that pre order call and the stress of being late to work because of that.

Still love the place, the staff, the coffee and do highly...
