As someone who appreciates good baked goods and has visited numerous bake shops around town, I must say that my recent visit to dolce bake shop left me thoroughly disappointed. The experience was far from what I expected, and I feel compelled to share my honest opinion to help others make an informed decision.

Firstly, the quality of the baked goods was abysmal. I sampled several items, including cookies, cupcakes, and pastries, and each one was a letdown. The cookies were dry and crumbly, lacking the chewiness and flavor that are essential to a satisfying cookie experience. The cupcakes were dry as well, and the frosting tasted overly sweet, almost artificial. As for the pastries, they were stale and lacked the flakiness and freshness one would expect.

Moreover, the presentation of the baked goods was subpar. They looked unappealing, as if they had been hastily thrown together without any attention to detail. The lack of care in their appearance made me question the overall quality and craftsmanship of the bake shop.

Furthermore, the customer service was underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic, showing no willingness to assist or engage with customers. I had a few inquiries about the products, but it was challenging to get any helpful information or recommendations.

Lastly, the prices at Dolce Bake shop were shockingly high considering the poor quality of the products. I expected to pay a premium for quality, but unfortunately, I received mediocre baked goods that did not justify the steep price tag.

In conclusion, my experience at Dolce Bake shop was disappointing across the board. The low-quality baked goods, unappealing presentation, lackluster customer service, and overpriced items make it impossible for me to recommend this bake shop to anyone seeking a delightful bakery experience. Wow this place has gone downhill!!! we picked up one strawberry cake, 12 cupcakes and several other baked goods for my son's birthday and the quality of the products have gone downhill !!!! significantly !! very stale dry cake and even the cupcakes were very dry and tasteless! What happened? We understand the owner is no longer baking we're not sure of the reason perhaps your staff should have learned how to properly bake before you got rid of him!!! The other owner who is a lady was extremely extremely rude to my mother 3 months ago and my mother told me to not go there but I never listened to her and I should have!! There are so many beautiful bakeries around the city please go elsewhere do not waste your time with this place I'm pretty sure it's going to end up closing permanently anyways!!! it's gone downhill and it's not the same! We went to dinardi's italian bakery and let me tell you they are the best bakery we have ever tried!! we bought a whole bunch of beautiful Cakes and Pastries and they were just absolutely amazing ! This weekend I celebrated my husband‘s 40th birthday party and there’s never a doubt on who I’m ordering my cake from. I have ordered cakes from Dolce Bake Shop for many many years at his first location on Regent and I now frequently visit the St Mary’s location. This cake absolutely did not disappoint. The originality, size, taste, and overall appearance was amazing. The owner, Roberto has created incredible 3-D cakes for many birthdays and my guests have always had rave reviews on the appearance, design and taste!!! His attention to detail is like no other, and I always listen to his suggestions because he knows best, and he has never steered me in the wrong direction.

Now that the St Marys location is closer to me I find myself going for dainty’s and a coffee more often than I should. Lol The staff is so sweet and the variety of pastries is superb especially their croissants. If you haven’t had a chance to try one, then I would recommend it. Best croissants...
