Quality Pizza — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I went in to this place after leaving no frills saying I didn’t wanna spend 8.99 on a frozen pizza and half would just end up in the garbage. After telling him that I’m on disability and have to be careful how I spend my money, so he offered me 5 slices for 5$ outta the pizza carrousel at the counter, I asked how fresh he said 20 mins ago. I wasn’t so sure about that but he took the time to reheat it for me and I was honestly hungry and hadn’t had pizza in quite some time and I honestly wasn’t expecting much. But it was actually quite good. Of course I thought that it was either cause I was just so hungry that my taste buds may have been tricking me. So I waited until the next month when I got my month end cheque, I walked in and immediately the guy recognized me and was so polite, and I had told him how I was looking for a medium pizza when I switched it up to a small pizza toppings of which I was allowed to actually customize within reason and a burger. When he had asked why the change of heart to the burger I then explained that I hadn’t had a really good burger in over a year I had negotiated the price for both the pizza and the burger for 20$ and paid by debit. I guess the next day I had checked my account and I was never charged for the food. So I went there again and ordered my favourite pizza and didn’t haggle just paid full price and enjoyed every last bite. As long as you treat people with respect they tend to respect you back and these guys have been amazing to me. I’d love to give 5 stars for the atmosphere but in the summer on a hot day it’s just as hot inside. Aside from that though these guys are really amazing at accommodating you if you need anything. Plus I also love supporting local businesses over chain...

This family run biz is one I will frequent more often. As a recommendation from my daughter, I decided to try it as I was cycling past on my way home. The service from the two young servers on a Monday night at 9 pm was outstanding. As I waited I asked for a glass of water but quickly realized it is not a sit down restaurant so they have no glasses. To my surprise he handed me a complimentary water bottle.

They considered the way the food would be transported at every stage of the preparation and cooking. The crust was crisply perfected in their stone fired oven and they packaged my pizza so that it would endure the ride home better on my bicycle.

Friendly service, fresh toppings and a terrific crust - I regret I ate it all before...

Friendly staff. Prompt service. The pizza is very good. Usually when ordering thin crust from other pizza restaurants, you tend to feel a bit cheated on the cheese and topping levels.

That is not the case here.

Topping levels are perfect. Generous, while not overwhelming the thin crust. I had a simple pepperoni and bacon. Toppings were solid pieces of real pepperoni and actual bacon slices. Not crumbles or some other variations people can get.

It's been my first visit back from many years ago when they were on Dakota ( and st.Marys ). It's a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. I will definitely be back....
