Henderson Burgers & Subs — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Delicious as always! My opinion of this place has not changed since I first tried it last September. This time around I brought my daughter who is about 11 months to come sit down with my friends and I for some lunch. This place is great for family outings gatherings and if you just want some alone time to enjoy some nice local food. I also recommend this place for the baby lead weaning mothers especially when your baby is trying to try some new food. There are some child friendly options on the menu that you can share with your baby if you're ever so inclined to. I admit the chicken fingers are delicious when they're hot and even when they're cold! The portions are reasonably sized so I was able to take some food home so I can share it with my child later. I'm definitely coming back to support this local business as there are so many things to try on the menu that sound enticing! Keep up the good work Henderson Burgers and Subs! Currently, 2pm: The food here is middling, but satisfying. The portions are decent, but overpriced. It cost over $50 for two people to have lunch here. 4 years ago, it was $30ish. The contents of the Philly sub is lacking, the last few bites were just bread.

The service staff are almost surly, talk so fast you can't be sure it's English (it is), and charge a buck to refill your drink (no ice). The place is empty but the one lady puts an auctioneer to shame, she's in such a rush.

I hate to change my review of a place I've loved, but I'll not be returning. Apparently it's only good to visit in the dead of night, when John is working.

By far thee worst burger place I've ever been to in the city of Winnipeg, service was terrible food was terrible they used cheese slices on my poutine, bacon was way over cooked on my sub Chilli on our Chilli fries was pathetic it was like the fries soaked up the grease and was left with a dry package of fries with a brown looking substance they call Chilli, and when you try to point it out over the phone because we order on skip what the cooks have done wrong they reply ignorance, and swear at me and hang up if I could give this place a rating below 0 I sure would. they have gone down hill since it lost the George's name don't waste your time going here unless you like being disappointed I gave this place more chances then they deserve...
