Junior's Restaurant — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I've been going to the Junior's restaurants since about 1960. The first Junior's was and is still at the corner of Broadway and Main Street. Just the other day my wife and I decided to go to the Junior's on McPhillips. The last time we were there the burgers were the typical awesome hamburger that has been served at juniors for many years. It's that hamburger that stands out amongst all the other hamburger establishments. Unfortunately for some unknown reason the owners of this restaurant have now chosen to go to some pre-made hamburger patties. I have never in all these years left a hamburger uneaten! For the first time this past visit both my wife and myself we're forced to do exactly that. I have never had anything so less palatable then that hamburger. They were as if we were chewing on a piece of leather. Why did the owners do themselves and the Junior's franchise such a disservice by making the Hamburger so inferior? The fries we're the only saving grace. Thankfully they didn't change that. It's the hamburger that really made Junior's stand out. Unfortunately, my wife and I will never return to this location again. I hope anybody looking for a good burger chooses any other location or restaurant and...

As everywhere else price has gone up and that is understandable but portions quality and customer service are definitely down. Not sure if this place has recently changed hands but was there about half an hour ago where the fat boy combo is on for $10 and in the past I have always been able to trade the drinks for upsizing the fries, this was not allowed so I asked for whichever way would be cheapest to simply get me the two fat boys and two large fries whether it be to upgrade the combo or charge them out separately, as it turns out, I was charged the more expensive of the two options and upon my return home noticed that the two large fries were only 2/3 full each, this is the last time I will visit this location and strongly suggest to others to spend their hard earned dollar elsewhere. The young lady at the drive-through window was quite polite and I did offer her a two dollar tip for her efforts I think the supervisor or management as well as the kitchen needs some serious help here. I have ordered from this location thru skip the dishes twice in a row now and twice in a row they have forgotten part of my order, after calling I'm to complain, both times I had to fight with the staff in the restaurant over the phone with them attempting to offer just a credit for a future order, it is a fight to get them to send the missed food out, and they tried to make ME phone skip the dishes to have another courier come back with a replacement order when it is completely their fault, after fighting with them to get my food that was missing.....both times.... I had to wa it over an hour to get the food that they didn't send to me in the first place, so now I don't get to eat with the rest of my family......so not pleased with this establishment......I will be contacting the manager aziz tomorrow.......the only reason this place evendors got a 1 star rating is bc I couldn't figure out how to give a half...
