First time ordering here via Uber Eats and got the Skinless Longganisa Silog. The rice was very dry, undercooked and hard you couldn’t even eat it. The longganisa and eggs were fine. I was actually planning to dine in here if the food was good. It’s unbelievable how no one in the restaurant did not notice that the rice is way undercooked and needed more water during the cooking process.
I'm all about supporting Filipino businesses, but this meal's quality and price point ($15.99) are making me hesitant. Other Filipino places offer similar Silog/Filipino breakfast dishes at a lower price.
UberEats won't refund my money, so I reached out to Couple Chef via phone call after I received the delivery, and they suggested I contact UberEats for a credit. As a gesture, they'll provide a complimentary dessert if I come in for a meal.

Filipino dishes are delicious. A great addition to the North Kildonan community! If you haven't tried you must go. It is located in the Nor Villa Hotel which also has a bar lounge, a lot of VLTs, beer vendor, and a CANNABIS shop. I went on a Friday night and was attracted to the live band last week, shout out to the HOLLY DAVIDSON BAND! I came back Saturday night to listen to the live band again. Apparently they have a different band perform every weekend. And shout out to ROYCE at The Pothole, knowledgeable & studious of the products in THE POTHOLE.
