On January 4th of this year at 1:20PM I placed a SKIP the Dish order for KFC. The order turns out was processed at the nearest KFC to me was BridgeWater.I ordered a four pce extra crispy that was available on-line. SKIP was great and the order was delivered in 40 minutes. As you can see by the pictures attached - the chicken was highly overcooked - ABSOLUTELY ZERO TASTE other than oil. Fully not able to eat because of how tasteless and oily the chicken was.
I called the Winnipeg Bridgewater location and asked to speak with the manager. I conveyed to him my order number and the issue. The manager was very CONFRONTATIONAL.. I want to make this very clear the MANAGER was very argumentative and condescending. The manger who refused to provide his name said KFC does not make oily chicken - I needed to drive twenty minutes to prove it to him. I was not asking for a refund or anything other than pointing out how my order was. He said I was lying and unless I drove twenty minutes there he was doing absolutely nothing about it.
The funny part he said very clearly - THAT CHICKEN was made TWENTY MINUTES before I even placed my order. It was not his fault I did not order my chicken sooner.. Exactly how LONG does your chicken sit? Because according to him it was made thirty minutes before I even ordered and then took another thirty minutes in prep-time before it was ready to be p/u? SO that chicken my PAID for chicken was by that time ONE HOUR OLD???
He stated very clearly that if I wanted a refund I needed to contact SKIP because he was going to do nothing about it - unless I proved it to him. Skip refunded HALF the price - for chicken I had to throw out. The pictures attached CLEARLY show how dark the meat was - not golden brown over cooked DARK BROWN. The pictures clearly show that there was so much oil you can ACTUALLY read the KFC logo through the bottom INSIDE of the box. The pictures clearly show the bottom back side of the box SOAKED in oil. This can ONLY HAPPEN if the chicken was saturated in oil and sat in the box for a long period of time.
So not only does this location lose a customer and money - they have also EFFECTED SKIP losing a customer and money.
I have been a KFC customer for over 55 years - this experience with this ONE LOCATION has ruined...

But our experience today was just unacceptable! Placed an online order at noon today for pick up at 3:00PM. Went through the drive-thru just before 3pm; there were only 2 cars ahead but the wait was almost 10 minutes! When we reached the window & told the cashier that it was for pick-up for 3PM, we were told there was a wait of 15-20 minutes! Expressed our disappointment and informed the cashier that the order was actually placed at 12pm which gives them basically 3hrs to prep the order! But was told that there was a “school rush” thats why they were running late! It’s spring break!! No school all over the province! How can they even say there was a school rush?? There were only 2 dine-in customers inside & still waited for 25 minutes! And again was told there was a “school rush” thus the order was so late. What a horrible experience today, so...
Read moreHad an absolutely terrible experience at this KFC. First, I waited over 20 minutes for my order, which is already unacceptable. But the worst part? When I got home and took the bag out of my car, the entire order fell onto my driveway because the boxes and bag were so flimsy that they completely broke apart.
I called the store, and an employee confirmed my order number and promised to replace the full order of 9 pieces of chicken. But when I drove all the way back to the store, they suddenly changed their story and said they would only give me 2 pieces. This is outright dishonest and misleading. If they had told me the truth on the phone, I wouldn’t have wasted my time and gas driving back.
This is completely unacceptable customer service. If this is how they treat paying customers, I will never return to this location again. Avoid this place unless you want to be lied to and...
