Kool Deelites — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Ordered some Nanaimo bars because I had a craving and was happy to see they sold them through skip- well my mistake because I have never had a more disgusting smelling plate/saran wrap/dessert in my life. Literally all of it smelled like soggy cigarettes. I came here to leave a review and I see someone else had the same experience with the same dessert. Safe to say I’ll never be ordering from here again. I took one bite of the bar thinking maybe my nose is just off, well I have eaten some pretty nasty things in my life but this takes the cake!!! Regular customers. Placed large order over the phone for pick up today, and with each item, the woman owner scoffed like she was frustrated with the added items. The total was over 80 dollars, overpriced items that aren't homemade, mccain crinkle fries. Usually we're happy with the items as we know that we're getting items that are not homemade, this time we made a larger order to support her restaurant. She made a pretty decent fuss over the fact we used a Mastercard and she had to pay a fee now and "remember for next time, guys" with a snarky tone. SKIP THIS PLACE. "We're only open to walk-ins before 9pm." ...umm, alright, then lock your door, because someone walking in at 11pm (because your hours on Google show you as available until 2am) finds that an extremely rude way to handle coulda-been-customers. I'll not be returning here with that display of customer service. Lockdown or no, you could have just as easily taken the order through the side window where we TRIED to get your attention at first.
