UPDATE: Someone responded to my review (Owner) (see below) asking me to contact them by e-mail with my concerns at "experience@marybrowns.com" which I did. It is now a week later, and I have had absolutely no communication from Mary Browns about my experience what so ever. It looks great when they respond on Google Reviews saying thank you for sharing your experience with us and the community, etc, but then they don't respond to the e-mail and offer some solution, apology or explanation. Why ask a customer to send them an e-mail if they are just going to ignore it? Horrible customer service from start to finish.
Original Review: From the time I entered the drive through to the time I got my food was 40 minutes. Yes, not a typo...40 MINUTES. I was in a rush, on the way home for a meeting and decided to bring home chicken for my family. I wanted to order something new I saw on the app, the Feast for Beast for my wife and I and two piece and taters for our boys, and a gravy. After waiting for my turn in the drive through I was told I can't order the Feast for Beast at the drive through and needed to order it on the app. Absolutely ridiculous. There were 3 people behind me, so I went around. Tried 3 times to order off the app, and it was not working properly. Went into the store to try to get this fixed and was told there is no manager there, and I'll have to order off the app... that isn't working. Finally one of the employees re-set something on their end, and it allowed me to order. As I said though. 40 min, when I was in a hurry to get food to my family, and get to my meeting. Just awful experience, and truth be told the tiny little chicken tenders and pop ins were dry, cold, and over cooked. This available on the app only stuff is awful. I am okay with technology, but there are a lot of people who are still not. You lose ALL that business. They will not order off an app, and will not order from your restaurant. Read moreI was attempting to place an online order w/Mary Browns & required tele support as I wasn't able to insert my online survey discount code to put towards my 2 orders of Big Mary's($4.99) & 2 Pickle Chips($1.99). The instore employee placed the order over the tele as she advise I would only be able to use my discount code in store so I sent my teenager to pay for the order (w/tap) & requested that a receipt be sent home w/him..to my dismay we were charged $7.49 for 2 orders of pickle chips instead of $3.98. Upon calling the store I was informed that pricing on the app & instore differs, I explained my dismay as I agreed to pay $1.99 per side order & tht my child would not verify the cost as he was instructed only to tap the bank card. Very long disturbing story; instore employees did not provide any info about prices varying in store& online despite being willing to place the order?!! The instore employees were unwilling to admit their fault in the situation & provide any form of compensation other than a discount of 15% which is standard when answering a survey. Upon request for a manager the instore employees also informed me that the manager, Prabh, would be away for another 1-2 weeks. This situation is very disheartening. I don’t usually write reviews but when it’s this bad I have too. This is probably one of the worst locations to pick up food. I went to drive thru to order my food. Lady on the intercom said give her a moment. So I sat there waiting for about 5 mins before she took my order. When I got to the window, I made sure to double check the order as it seemed she was all over the place. I order a spicy big marry with wedges, and a can of ice tea. And I asked for extra sauce on the sandwich as well. Pay for the food and she said she’ll be right back. I shit you not, I sat there for 15 mins waiting for my food in drive thru. When I finally got it, I asked her why did it take so long, she told me it’s just her and the cook? So she’s trying to serve the poeple inside and in drive thru as well. Which is kind of ridiculous. If your short staff, have drive thru closed so you can focus on better customer service. But clearly that wasn’t the case. Since I waited that long I thought my food would be fresh, but nope. That wasn’t the case either. It was cold and old. Sandwich didn’t have my extra sauce. Wedges were so cold and old. I didn’t even end up eating my food. Just threw it away.
