Walk in this morning to pick up breakfast, the very first thing that caught my attention was an employee speaking loudly, in her own native tongue over another employee to a co-worker standing near the front till. Here was this woman standing in between her two co-workers who obviously could not understand what was being said as she is not of that culture. I am trying to be polite here and respectful but what I witnessed was FAR FROM BEING RESPECTFUL. I could tell by the look on this woman that she was feeling so VERY UNCOMFORTABLE at her work station. My heart sank for this woman. My order was was up and she served me. I could not walk away without saying something to her. I said I am so very sorry that you have to work in this environment and being disrespected. And this is what she responded to me with: LAST WEEK NOONE HERE AT WORK TALKED TO ME, THEY ALL WERE SPEAKING THEIR LANGUAGE AND DID NOT SAY ONE WORD TO ME. I write this in caps because this is workplace HARASSMENT, THIS IS DISCRIMINATION against a Canadian. This poor woman is being bullied and harrassed. Disgusting!! I hope management sees this and something is done! I hope ANYONE who reads this and is facing the same treatment to speak up and reports to...
Read moreOut of the three other east side locations, this McDonald's bears a lot of familiar layout similarities to most others elsewhere. This is one I don't typically go out of my way to but since I've left reviews on all of the other 3 (actually 4 if you count the Walmart one), I figured I'd give this a fair shake too, at least from an inside perspective (haven't used the drive-thru here so I can't really speak to it). It runs a little bit on the smaller side so the pickup area may feel a little squishy when there's several people waiting on orders. Introverts will probably want to be aware that the weekday afternoon manager seems to be a bit chatty, though I'm sure she genuinely means well; anything to pass the time. There is a TV, but its picture quality is a little worse than others, however it's a basic cheapo one from Best Buy down the street and I guess it's possible someone might have had fun with an Android phone with an IR blaster at some point. Otherwise it's cozy enough, and you don't wait too long. No noticeable food quality differences for the worse versus any other location, and no special restrictions or caps on its drink...
Read moreI would give them zero stars if possible. On multiple occasions I have waited 20 plus minutes for iced coffee. Having them serve people behind me with the same order. Their reasoning, bc "she said she was in a rush" while a lot of people there, including myself are in a rush. Possibly on their way to work? I get these things happen but shouldn't every time you go there... There has been times here where my gf and I have gone there after work through the drive through. Since we are leaving work we had different cars. Went through the drive through separately. She chose a lane, I took the opposite. She got served fairly quick but I didn't in the opposite lane. I sat there alone not having anyone take my order for close to ten minutes. In that time three other cars came through and were served before I did... On top of that when you go up to the window half there staff is standing around doing nothing when the one guy who takes your money and gets your food/drink ready... like WOW. Do not give this Mcdonald's your business Unless you want to waste 20 minutes waiting for an...
