The manager ended up playing coy on the phone telling me he doesnt know, dont call here, no I cant hear you in a clear tone. They hung up on the original number I called them on and more times after that. They were wrong to charge me fifteen more bucks for my food when I got there even pulling out a new flyer they had while the counter girl stood aside looking silly with her phone on the website which proves the error though she didn't navigate to the menu. Other menus they have online say the same 3- xl (really just large and an obvious fabrication) with five toppings for 36 bucks and I was told 51 dollars when there. Of course this time on the phone they didn't repeat back the price and I was even asked to spell sausage and beef was repeated back when I said bacon which isnt what I said which put me off, given how many times I repeated myself to different people who weren't really listening carefully although they initially appeared ready to take the order. This is what typically happens there but there is a level of rudeness to a person who acts ignorant and is mistrusted when they are supposed to at least appear like they do what they do for the people they serve as a food business that appeals to a low income area. I find them low grade and dodgy; getting this deal before seemed like it was all about the toppings and I had to question if each pizza was maybe a worse value compared with what they serve there for 99 cents being over 10 dollars each based on the slices and not getting the full amount of toppings since there's 5 and they skimp. The guy had a cool attitude and the girl there was mostly dismissive and passive through it all. She might know better while if the guy does know better that just makes him look more crumby, either way not good, and not how I want...
Read moreThe pizza is definitely better than you'd expect for 99 cents per slice! It's decent, and definitely not bad at all. If you order a custom pizza with multiple toppings, it's better. You won't find gourmet pizza here, but it will be tasty and affordable.
I really like the fried chicken though. It is so much better than KFC! Much cheaper too. The potato wedges are tasty, but not amazing.
The butter chicken (which you need to pre-order) is actually really great. It's served hot and fresh, the portion is a good size, and it's fairly spicy. It's definitely my favourite thing...
