Never again! This place was best restaurant in 2015! So 9 years later, their food and service is very disappointing. Very over priced The vegetables that come with the over-cooked, dry chicken souvlaki where almost raw and hard The spanikopita was a very small piece cut into 4 micro pieces and overpriced.

I ordered pick up since they select if and when they'll deliver. That should've been my hint! I asked how long and was told 20 mins so I got there 5 mins early.

Everything was cold and not packed properly to keep the heat in.

The lady that works there saw me coming in, said hi but proceeded to go out for her smoke. Meanwhile I'm standing in an empty restaurant at 7pm on a Friday night, waiting to get my order. She returns after 5 mins and I gave her a $50 bill. She looks at me like a dear in headlights. I was paying with cash and after having to wait for her to finish her smoke, I wanted my change back. She couldn't figure out what my change would be , the bill was $45.99 and I gave her $50. So she goes to the back and returns with $2. I'm like, okaaay? Meanwhile, I check my order to see everything is there, and every dish was cold. How can that be when I showed up early? Needles to say, I will never go back and will tell others to find a different...

Having last visited the restaurant years ago we were looking forward to dining here again. How disappointing! It delivered way below our memories and expectations. Having dined in Greece and on Toronto's Danforth the "authenticity" claimed for the food by this Winnipeg institution is ludicrous. Moussaka with a thin spread of bechemel and some red tomato sauce on top!? Moussaka should not be mushy and a flat texture. Pastissio that is gummy? Uninspired salads? The only laudable aspects of the meals were the lentil soup and the retsina. The prices are high and portions not particularly generous. On the positive side, the service was fine and friendly. The decore is looking a bit kitch and tired. Maybe we just caught it at a bad time or off night, but we left thinking that they have coasted too long on a reputation first established 30 years ago. Note they stop serving and close...

Portions were overpriced for their size, but those sizes have become even smaller. The quality is also inconsistent, especially depending on the day or time you make your order for. The worst, though, is the customer service from the owner! Several times we have encountered a problem with our order, but instead of addressing the problem he blames us, the customer. We are always very specific on our orders, and have strict requirements, so when they are not met, things can go very bad. He refused to help us in any way or even admit the issue even occurred. The greek salad was completely mush within 30 minutes after we picked up the order (the dressing was put on when we specifically asked not to, plus the salad was placed between 2 hot dishes causing it to cook!) This is the 3rd time something like this has happened, never again. I would not recommend ever doing business...
