Panda Tea — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I ordered a Strawberry Latte, which I’ve had before with no issue. The minute I drank it, I immediately knew it was off because it was salty. I called this store to clarify the issue and they said the drink comes with their salted foam. I’ve had this drink before at their McPhillips location and it wasn’t like that. I rechecked and the item description on Doordash doesn’t display the salted cheese foam. So either it’s an employee’s mistake OR an oversight on the branch for not including it. I called the store again to let them know it’s not included in the description and the explanation I got is “maybe whoever made it put too much salt. I’ll talk to my manager about it” and got no apology. I’ve had no issue with Panda tea before, but this was disappointing to see how poorly the staff handled...

UPDATE: 5STARS...HANDS DOWN. CONSISTENCY (of add-ins & requests being correctly done) GREATLY IMPROVED NOW MY #1 FAV PLACE TO GET MY PASSION FRUIT SLUSH FIX!!! If I were rating just the taste..5 stars, hands down (also nice to not have to pay the pricey $7.99 delivery fee) BUT when it comes to consistency... unfortunately that knocks it down at least 2 stars! Ordered two different drinks - a chocolate chip slush and a mango pomelo. Immediately knew something was off as we get Panda Tea often. Both had a metallic aftertaste that we did not feel safe drinking. Tried without straw in case that was the issue; same bad aftertaste.

Advised the worker that there was a metallic taste. She was unsympathetic and said she followed the recipe. Offered us new straws, but that wasn't the issue. She said that only the manager was able to authorize refunds and she could get them to give us a call.
