I've ordered a "build your own pizza" through skip the dishes. To building your own pizza you must to choose the "cheese base" and there is a option to select "No cheese". As I have allergy to cheese, I choose the option with "No cheese". Surprisingly, the pizza came with cheese. That's fine. Mistakes happens. So I've call pizza pizza and the only answer that I hear was: Contact skip the dishes. I've argued with his, as skip the dishes doesn't make pizza, so it was not their mistakes. I'm pregnant and really want to eat the pizza. So, I decide to drove to Pizza Pizza with my wrong pizza to be replaced. Getting there, I've explained again what's happened. So, what I heard was that they made my pizza as requested. At this point, the guy said that he would show me the order in his "iPad". When he read his screen, I'm pretty sure he realized his mistake, so he decided to not show me it anymore. All the time I was telling that I just want my correct pizza. From here, he said that if I want my pizza I should order another one so he would make it, which doesn't make any sense at all!! So, he said to contact skip the dishes, and that he doesn't care about my order.
I'm just writing this review because the "customer services" really surprised me. Wasn't it more simples just to make me a new pizza as I ordered? In the end, I've donated the pizza, as I would never throw food away. I'm hoping with this review, that pizza pizza improves their system and own their mistakes when they happen, instead of simply just blaming...
Read moreI'm usually pretty jacked about ordering from Pizza Pizza but this time it didn't quite do it. I got a panzerotti and an order of jalepeño poppers. The poppers were extremely good, nice and crisp with a good range of flavors.
The panzerotti is a different story. I got it only because the Portage Ave location doesn't have the donair sauce and meat like the other Pizza Pizza locations. I've wanted to try it for a little bit now and was kind of excited. I got the bacon double cheeseburger panzerotti. It tasted strangely sweet with the pizza sauce used in it. There's an unpleasant smokiness to it as well. In specific places, not throughout the whole panzerotti. It was just not very good tasting and I didn't eat the last half of it as a result. If I return to that location I will be getting something else but I'll likely choose to order from the locations that can make a Donaire pizza because it's...
Read moreI love pizza pizza and have been a regular for years when i lived in Ontario. I was so excited when I saw this place in winnipeg as they are not as common here. I have to say the pizza was as good as i remember but the customer service was AWFUL. I came in with my 2 young daughters just to grab a slice for each of us and they didn't have any cheese only slices available (which is what my youngest daughter wanted) so i asked the awful not friendly looking guy behind the counter if he had any cooking to which i received a gruff "no" . I asked if he could make any and he said yes but it would be a wait. He was not kind about it and made me feel like just asking him was a burden to him. Not a single smile or thankyou or anything. Worst customer service I have ever received.
My visit was at around 11:45 on Saturday July 30th. Not impressed at...
