The owner is rude. I was there last year in March. It was a photo shoot day (only found that out after the photographer started snapping photos of my son and I, without asking for consent might I add) I asked the photographer if theyd b posted on social media, she said yes, so I asked her not to post them for privacy reasons, but that I'd love to have them, she redirected me to the owner to ask her, I did so, she said absolutely - that she would send me the file of the photos taken that day to my email once she recieves it and I said I'd message her on Ig abt it with my email. I send her the msg, and she tells me that the photographer hadnt sent them yet, but once she recieves them she will let me know. Months pass, and I ask about the photos - her response? The photos were deleted by the photographer as they were "unusable". Even though I had her word she would contact me once she recieved them.. I reminded her that I asked her in her cafe about sending them, and also sent a msg on her Ig page days later about it, and that she said she'd definitely send them, only to have her once again say they're "unusable". Unusable for what? Her social media page? Which are staged for her page btw. Most birthday parties pictured aren't real, atleast the one happening when we were there was not.
Instead of her apologizing for deleting the pictures which she promised to send to me, she was rude, snarky and sarcastic, replying to me when I said " Well, too late" with "Yup, too late now🤷♀️" Knowing I wanted them sent, along with the photographer knowing as well, she could've simply communicated to her photographer "Hey, one of my customers in on the last photoshoot day wants the pictures sent to her, so don't delete any photos" instead she gives her the OK to delete the "unusable photos" knowing she told me numerous times before she'd keep and send them to me?
Awful attitude, awful professionalism, and awful customer service.
RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY: You still fail to address the part that u literally told me u would send the photos to me once u recieved them. Why do u keep stressing the photos were unusable and thus deleted. The point is: u TOLD me that u WILL send them to me. Why didn't that happen? u can't answer this. It does not matter if it's "almost been a year"Life happens, ppl go through things, forget then remember just as I did, when I remembered to enquire about the photos- just to be told they were deleted even though u told me you'd send them. Also, I 100% did NOT enter ur establishment when closed. Why on earth would I walk in somewhere if it's closed? I have pictures with timestamps of that day I was there with my son, which proves that I was there during open hrs, atleast 45 minutes - 1 hr before close. As it approached closing, there were people coming in and I was confused as I know it was soon time to close so I asked u about the hours, to know if we should leave, and u did not give a clear answer at all about the hours and told me it's ok to stay, that ur open later as it's "photoshoot day" I also called numerous times on more than one occasion with no answer to ask if there is open play as I checked ur Fb, site, qthere was nothing stating it was closed for a party, just to arrive, and being turned away. Another time i showed up in the rain, just to meet one of your employees outside of the door locking up early and saying "sorry" before running to their car, with no notice of any early close on social media. Also, I did purchase items before from 2 ladies you seem to have employed. After you msged me on Ig after my review telling me how I'm being ridiculous I told u not to contact me but u still did, so I told u for the last time what u cant seem to understand - u gave your word to someone and did not follow throught then when called out on it u act very disrespectful and rude.
Ur replies to your low ratings on here are telling of ur character and how u conduct business. Its so very "cringeworthy" reading u arguing with customers and...
Read moreI used to go to scout weekly, if not more, my kids love it there so much so I decided to have my sons second birthday there.
I was told by staff there that I could come 15 mins early to set up so that's what I did. We went in and ordered drinks(so we were also paying customers) and they charged us extra for showing up early...even though i was told we could, plus we bought stuff and they apparantly allow customers to come in and wait for there orders.
We had birthday gifts placed at the table against the wall near the bathrooms where TONS of people came in to use the bathroom and it just so happened that my 2 year old sons birthday card from my 86yr old grampa was stolen.
I emailed scout in response to their email asking for a review if they could please check the camera and the response was "what were you hoping to see" along with i emailed the staff to see about a missing card and only one got back to her and she would let me know about the second staff.
It's been over a month and still haven't heard anything about the other staff member.
I emailed her back asking about the camera footage and even offered to drive in from out of town to review it and they said they only do it if police are involved. I replied saying well if there's a theft the police will be.
They refused to show me the footage for the time frame I requested and said they reviewed it and didnt see anything. How a card can just disappear is beyond me. Obviously something was on the footage and they probably didn't want police involved.
She did offer to refund me the 18 dollars I was over charged due to coming 15ish mins early cuz I was told I could but that's not the point. If I had a business and a 2 year olds birthday card went missing I would email them the footage or show them in person to show that my business can be trusted. Instead I was charged over 200$ for 2 hours plus bouncy castle and 20 dollars for bitter tasting coffee, bad customer service and a poor response to a missing birthday gift based off of what they allow during birthday parties. Plus the 25 dollars missing of birthday money.
If im renting the place for 200$ for 2 hours maybe set some rules with customers ordering. They were allowing customers to sit inside and my sister had to be like hey we rented this place like leave and the staff was like oh yah sorry and the owners reply was well they must of thought they were with your party. Like take some accountability. Change the rules maybe dont allow bathrooms to the public while the place is being rented for a bday party when gifts are around. Anyone could of taken the card.
I will never be going back and just what a rip off and overall terrible experience from...
