Seven Café — Restaurant in Winnipeg

One of my friends has been telling me this café for the longest time and I finally got a chance to tried it!! I went here with my other friend, and I order their summer menu - Jasmine tea with matcha cold foam and my friend ordered strawberry field. Their drinks are SO good, I think their strawberry field is so far the best strawberry matcha in Winnipeg. The jasmine tea with matcha cold foam is also really.good, it tastes very refreshing in a hot summer day. It's not very sweet because the base is tea which I like, and you can taste both matcha and jasmine tea's flaveur! The strawberry field is so good!! The strawberry doesn't taste like strawberry jam, it tastes like strawberry milk so it doesn't make the drink too heavy or overpowering the matcha. We also ordered some pastry. I ordered the cheese croissant. I really like it, the croissant is very crispy! My friend ordered a ham sandwich, and she likes it too! The other matcha is coconut pandan matcha, I came back without my friend, and ordered this drink and I think this drink is so amazing! Usually, the coconut would make me kinda sick because it's too heavy but this one does not! It taste very refreshing and not heavy at all. However I would say the matcha taste is not really standing up so if you want more coconut flaveur this would be a good choice! But I still very like it :) And in terms of atmosphere, it's a very nice cozy café! The seating area are pretty spacious, so we can choose to sit at the window. They also have outside seating area which is very nice for a sunny day! Me and my friend were there pretty long time and they didn't kick us out, we stayed until 3pm which is their closing time. The only flaws I would say is yes, l agree on other comments, their drinks are a bit pricey, but other than that every thing is amazing!! I wish they could bring back the drink my friend was talking about - the banana bread matcha and peppermint matcha!!!!! At least let me try it before...

Won’t come again. I’d like to say the coffee was okay, but don’t ask for a cold brew. They fill your whole cup with ice then add 2 measly shot glasses worth of cold brew then fill the rest with water or cream if that’s what you take. When I brought it back in and asked for some coffee he took the one I had and set it aside to pour it out and made the exact same thing again instead of topping it off. Wastes his own product just rip off the customer. Very unintelligent, Very rude, very impersonal service and clearly not looking for a return customer. I've previously ordered here through a delivery app but I finally got to visit their café.

The interior is very pleasing and there a few seats. When I visited there weren't a lot of customer (I believe we were the only customers) so it was nice and quiet.

Inside, they have coffee beans and misc items for sale, like plants and frozen ramen. They also have pastries and breakfast sandwiches.

I got an iced latte with oat and it was good! The beans had the right kind of bitterness that I liked.
