TacoTime — Restaurant in Winnipeg

By far the best Taco Time location in all of Manitoba, possibly even Canada!

I’ve been eating here a lot lately, everything is made properly and the staff are extremely friendly and always greet me with a big happy smile! The quality at this location is on another level, if you’ve ever visited another taco time location like at a shopping mall fast food court, they microwave your burrito. Or serve it cold.

But this location on Marion at Dominion takes the time and has hot, steaming fresh burrito meat and they preheat the tortillas before hand, wrap everything up perfectly, from the burrito to the packaging of the food items. The customer service is excellent as well,

I ordered two chicken soft tacos and wait for 5 minutes...no problem so far...then a delivery driver comes in with one of those huge Skip bags. They drop everything and proceeded to make that order entirely first and took over twenty minutes to make it. I ordered before he even came in and it took 25 minutes + for my order. I asked what was happening after 20 minutes and literally got no response...just looks. No response at all. Silence. What the heck. It's extremely frustrating that small order are not made by a second staff member while these delivery orders are being made and that the staff does not even acknowledge what's happening or "thank you for the wait" or anything. I recently visited Taco Time and had a really satisfying experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. I tried the crispy beef burrito and Mexi-fries, and both were delicious — the burrito had the perfect crunch, and the fries were nicely seasoned and crispy.

One thing I really appreciated was how clean the restaurant was, and the staff were friendly and polite. They took the time to explain the menu when I had questions, which made ordering easier.

Compared to other fast-food taco places, Taco Time feels like it puts more effort into quality ingredients. The portions were generous for the price, and I left feeling full and happy.
