Whaaaaat? Okay, apparently this place gets high star rating because people just want a pleasant little park. However, if you are like me and think from reading the website that there's actually a fort here with buildings and a light and sound show... You are very mistaken. It's a pleasant little Park with a remnant of a stone entrance and a memorial wall with some nice gardens, but there's nothing left of the historic remnants. Perhaps people confuse it with the actual fort and buildings of the lower fort Garry 30 minutes north of town? We were very disappointed to spend money to park there and walk around and find that there really is nothing there.
