I recently visited The Green Falafel, and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place truly cares about quality, freshness, and great service. The atmosphere is cozy, bright, and welcoming — you can immediately feel the positive vibe.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The falafel here is absolutely amazing — crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients; it’s not oily or heavy like in many other places. Every bite was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I also loved their hummus — smooth, creamy, and served with warm pita bread that was clearly made fresh.
I ordered one of their wraps, and it was packed with crunchy vegetables, tangy pickles, and their signature tahini sauce that brought everything together beautifully. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted so balanced — you could tell it was prepared with care.
The staff deserve a special mention as well. They were super friendly, patient, and made sure everything was perfect with my order. It’s rare these days to find a place where you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer, but The Green Falafel definitely gives you that feeling.
Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, and everything came out quickly, even though the place was quite busy. It’s clear why they have such a great reputation — this is one of those spots that you try once and immediately want to come back to.
If you’re looking for a healthy, delicious meal that’s full of authentic flavor and made with love, I can’t recommend The Green Falafel enough. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or just someone who loves great food, this place is a...
Read moreTruly the best falafel and the best sabisch I have ever tasted. The best in Winnipeg if not Canada. As with many of the other reviewers, I have travelled frequently. Be it local, national, or international, The Green Falafel is on a short list of my most memorable and highly craveable experiences of this irresistible cuisine. Everything on the menu that I have had the pleasure to try has been incredibly fresh, perfectly delicious, and completely authentic. I’m still enjoying leftovers days later and everything is still fresh and delicious. Pitas, falafel, eggplant sabisch, hummus, sauces and toppings, all the vegetable stuffings, etc. I’ve eaten from The Green Falafel a few times already and will return again and again and as often as possible. I’m already planning to try (and devour) the shakshuka next. Ariel and his team are wonderfully friendly, kind, energetic, and helpful. They clearly go above and beyond in every way and their hard work, commitment, and talents are deservedly bearing fruit … I...
Read moreI had been working in this area for the past week and ate there 4 times! I initially googled "restaurants near me" and this place came up! I'm so happy to have discover this gem. I tired a different meal eveyday and everything was sooo good. The staff is great and very friendly. It's such a busy yet cozy little place. When we left the second time my co-workers who dined with me commented that "everyone in there is so nice it felt like they were in a sitcom" lol!! I recommended some other co-workers try it and they went and loved it as well. They commented that the fallafal is "cooked to perfection" compared with other fallafal places they have tried (they are vegetarian so they try alot) . Highly recommended! Just go. It will...
