Last week I phoned to make a couples massage, as it was me and my husband's anniversary, and I thought a massage together would be a great way to spend our Sunday. I googled places for couples massages all afternoon and phoned a few different places inquiring as most locations don't offer it. I happened across the Advanced Massage Therapy website and decided to phone; I asked for a couples massage for August 18. The receptionist told me it was booked and who our massages would be with. When we arrived we were placed into separate rooms which was confusing to me, so I said "will I not be with my husband?" And she said "oh this location doesn't offer couples massages, only the Corydon location does." I was rather disappointed, as I'm not sure why someone would book a couples massage and expect to be in two different rooms. The receptionist apologized and I was told to call Carla, as she would help fix the issue. I called Carla and she said "we have the recording of the phone call so I will go listen to what it says and we will figure it out." She phoned me awhile later and said, "so the problem is that you didn't say 'couples massage' you said you wanted a massage with your husband." I KNOW that I did not say that, as I was phoning around all afternoon asking specifically for couples massages. But since Carla said she had the voice recording how could I prove otherwise? I asked her again "are you sure I did not say couples massage?" and she replied with "no you didn't." I pressed further as I am 100% sure I did and then she finally said "well we couldn't really make out what you were saying on the voice recording and the receptionist thinks you said "massage with your husband." So basically the so-called voice recording did not actually record the conversation and she tried to tell me I had said something that I did not say. While she did offer to include the steam room in our next massage which I appreciated and initially said I was fine with, the whole situation is still bothering me... especially how I was essentially told "you said massage with your husband and we have it on recording" when infact they did not. It just seems a bit shady.
The massage itself was good and I would recommend Dana, but I am kind of upset at how...

Read morePaolo was fantastic. He took the time to ask about specific areas of tension and really listened. He has a great touch—firm and precise without ever being too much. I had a lot of tightness in my shoulders and lower back, and he worked through those areas with a mix of deep tissue techniques and just the right amount of pressure. I left feeling lighter, looser, and more balanced.
The treatment room was warm and comfortable, with a heated table and soft lighting. It’s clear the clinic pays attention to the little details that make a big difference, like hot towels and supportive pillows. Everything felt clean and well-maintained.
Booking was simple through their online system, and they offer direct billing, which is a huge bonus. Parking was easy too, which is always nice on Grant.
