This may be long but I’m gonna write the type of review I would want. I was in Winnipeg for work and had been travelling a lot, work stress, life stress, etc. I was in bad shape so I googled massage places in the city. Matrix was the first place that had availability and good google ratings. I was assigned to John and able to fill out my consultation form stuff online. Amazing.

It was 40 degrees in the city and when I walked it, the AC was pumping but the table was just nicely warmed and I felt super comfortable temp wise. John confirmed some paint points then we got down to it. John felt super safe and was like gentle but professional moving my limbs around but firm where he felt I needed it and checked in on pressure early on. Other than that, we didn’t say a word which is like THE PERFECT situation for me. I hate having to talk about myself or make awkward small talk during massages and there was none of that which was so nice. John also had a really nice subtle smell (sorry if that’s creepy, it was just pleasant).

They direct billed my Blue Cross and I paid what was left and that was it. Great experience all around, I feel awesome next day and would go again if...

Winnipeg has an ever growing number of larger franchise based massage centers, and not all corporate franchise services are created equally. With that said, there is nothing like supporting local and nothing like the care and attention that you get from a boutique business owner who's passion is very evident the moment you step into this lovely space located on Grant Ave near Kenaston. On my first visit I was fortunate enough to have RMT Micaela facilitate my 60 min massage. It was quickly evident that Micaela was very knowledgeable and intuitive when it came to her craft and I felt as though this was one of the best healing experiences I have had. Great experience, great roster of several quality RMT's....
